I guess this is more of a philosophical disagreement. I find hope to be fulfilling and productive. False hope is a strange concept. How can we know that a hope is false - it can only be judged in the future. I believe my hope is not false - that it is evidenced in what O'bama has done in the community and what he has said. Will my hope be unfounded - perhaps. But should I not hope - but sit and wait for the anvil to drop - I think not. I chose hope.

Paul tells us that there are 3 things that abide - Faith, Hope, and Love - the greatest being love. I think hope is keeping good company.

well obamas plan is to increase the size of the military by 100,000 troops so that should indeed help with the unemployment numbers..

It might come as a shock, but this kind of nonsense has been going on in Washington since before you were born.

It's not "our" government that controls us.

You've never voted for any of the real leaders in Washington. They don't bother with democratic processes. They don't care what you think either. They give us just enough appearance of a democracy to fool the masses and keep the peace.

It's time the peace was shattered and power to the people restored.
