That "Hippy" Look

My look doesn't necessarily say hippy. It mostly says frump who wears hand me downs. LOL

 

I completley agree with you on this one dear. I used to wear my own anklets, braclets, and necklaces that I made piled up on myself. But like you said it just seemed to be like "hey that kid smokes herb!" which was true at the time but I too have quit quite a long time ago. I still do make hemp jewlery and always have a peice or two one me but I never have worn it like I used to...I do kinda miss it.

 

tee shirt, jeans/skirt, I recently started going to a lot of partys and have gathered quite the collection of kandy I usually throw on a couple of those.

I wear Dickies shorts a lot and just blue jeans. And black band shirts. And shirts with messages that I make at home [give peace a chance. animal liberation..ya know..] The other day this girl was in the hall and she said, 'you know..if i were new here, I'd think you were the scary girl in school who would like put a hex on me or something. but you're like the nicest person i've ever met.' Which goes along with what hippychickmommy said earlier about your threads saying something, but your personality being totally different. As for shoes, I wear these canvas ballet slippers or Converse at school, but barefoot the rest of the time. My parents hate that..

 

Am i the only one who has been beaten senceless 'cus i dressed like a hippie?
It's happend to me twice!
(the second time it happend i deciced not to wear my peace necklace in public, considering that it was used to nearly used to strangle me...)

i guess i dress like a hippie.
i found a cool pair of faded almost bellbottoms
people have called me a hippie just becuz of how i dressed and then once they get to know me they think i'm even more of a hippie. i don't mind it, if i didn't wanna be thought of as a hippie there's lotsa stuff i could do to not look like one.
