it isn't a competition lol......generally it was a rich parent spoiling a fan kid...

the Toronto maple leafs held a sold out record for years because Harold ballard the owner would buy all the left over tickets so on the books it looked like a sell out...Harold was the old mans actual boss....he was given the concert job when they started holding shows at the gardens and no one else wanted to stay late and settle with the band.....for years my dad came home at 4am after big shows....usually buzzed from the party...I grew up in that life

from one concert to the next...that is why I don't love any one band but I do love hundreds of various genre bands

it is half the reason I use drugs lol....people bribing me for the good seats...oh get us seats up front and i'll bring coke and honey oil

    ''ok'' :)

ftr I brought hundreds of people to concerts for free....maybe even over a thousand

one time they needed asses in seats for a poor selling john entwistles ox show and I brought 32 people to the show....I didn't even know who h was until the day of the show when my dad phponed me and asked me to get people down there

It isn't a competition to you but trust me as someone on a budget and likes to go to events it is very much a competition to be the first to be online and then hope you are picked by the thousands of others that try to get tickets at the exact same time. If I had more money I could save my trouble and go on eBay.

is this real life? shit, i lived in the restaurants my parents worked in, and when we were underfoot and they were working opposing shifts they used to pick a parking lot halfway and swap us kids (and laundry, when we had to use the laundromat) and then when we could be trusted with a key we were latchkey, but fuck all that noise i was babysitting my brothers on my own by the time i was 7-8 for short trips, and all night make something for dinner and get them to bed on time by the time i was 10 so my parents could work. would have been hella nice to see my folks home before the traffic.

(then again, the US is pretty behind when it comes to any kind of humanity. so im guessing thats got something to do with it)

Yep. That was truth no joking. Mothers were allowed to manipulate their work schedule to fit around their lives while everyone without kids just had to cop what was left. Graveyard shifts. I've always been a night owl so it never bothered me the least but some of the younger kids wanting to go at night weren't happy lol.

Basically, when behind a bar it's usually a rotational roster. It never worked though becaus all the day shifts were filled with the family folk :D

It's just that the laws surrounding animals now are pretty harsh. And if there's any chance of you getting in trouble because you aren't allowed to look after your let because of work, something needs to change.

I've been taking my watch off when I play on my table because I don't like it scratching my wood polish etc. and so I kept it on my hoodie pocket and I've had it for almost 10 years now this Christmas. It's been a great watch and gift my partner bought me. It has had one battery change two years ago and slight scratches from wear and tear. Before pool comp yesterday I was practicing and when I went to shower it fell out and landed on the sweet spot, shattering a part of the glass. =[ so when the big arm points at 35-47 mins, it's hard to read. I'm devastated by it. I can still wear and use and it don't look like it'll break out but I feel sick. I'd be lost without it. Hope I find cheap one in the states. :)

if the watch means that much, see if you can have it repaired. shouldnt be too expensive.

I never used to but I really liked this one. It just became so odd when I never had it on. If I get the face replaced but I'm not sure if it'll lose its water resistance?

to some degree of pressure it will lose resistance, but still be resistant to some degree. do you swim deep or just dish water?... dish water safe, but I wouldnt take it more that 10meters..

in a watch shop, it will be safe for shallow water..
if you replaced it yourself , it might fog up under some conditions..
glass is more glued in than the backs with the battery . they can just use pressure on the back, but the glass will have some sealant.. id take it to a shop..

I did an "Easy Rider" with my last watch... 30 years ago +/-

Had a pocket watch for a while since then but never looked at it... Was more of a fashion statement. It and a few of my Father's old watches and Mom's Micky Mouse watch died in the fire, along with all the other family heirlooms.
