I don't pay attention to time... It's light out or it's dark out are more what I deal with.

Hmm I always seem to look at the time on my watch.
Maybe it's just the symbolicness of the watch itself.
I do like pocket watches but that's what my phone is for. :D
Some people are really big into watches and spend thousands on them. I have a friend that does this, collects watches. Never wears them but they're just there in a drawer. I collect random things too so I don't find it weird, but maybe just a touch expensive.

I love knowing the time...I don't know why...some of my rooms have several clocks.

I can't wear watches. I quit trying about 30 years ago. I tried for years...well, I wore them for years before that - MANY different watches. Within days to at the most a couple of weeks they wouldn't work. I finally gave up.

My little tracfone is a great clock. :D

The watch glass is called the crystal, I think, and I'm fairly certain its a rather common thing to fix on a watch, so Irmi, it'll be easy to get your watch fixed good as new I bet. :)

Your vibrational energy doesn't mix well with watch quartz vibrational energies.

Ever since losing weight this year I have needed to take out a link in the band as its loose now which is annoying. But when they fit proper they are really good. :) for me anyway. We don't really have clocks at home at all. I turn the microwave off. Out stove has one.

I'd like an old antique grand father clock. I think those are cool.

My grandparents had a chiming mantel clock in their house. Spending the night with them was sheer hell because of that.

My father is obsessed with clocks that make noise. Every 15 minutes they go off each time a longer series of dings and chimes. It annoyed the hell out of me. For that reason I will never own a clock that makes noise.

All my life there has been a clock on the piano...I guess you'd call it a small grandfather clock. There is a key that sits inside the door (I guess you call it that) that opens onto the clock. Its hand-carved and everything, for what its worth.

When my father died, it quit working that day and has never worked since.

Some of those had a 12 hour mode where they didn't chime at night.... Seth Thomas was like that and it was switchable 12 hour or 24 hour mode. I used to have my Grandparents 1917 wedding clock.

I suppose my grandparents were use to the thing but I use to jump like a scared rabbit every time it chimed during the quiet of the night.

We had a Cookoo Clock at our house and my mother would lock the little door every night before bed. My little brother and I would clime up to it and open the door to play with the little bird.

    Now, I want one too!

We loved the chains and pinecone weights, too.

We got into trouble for pulling on that clock. I remember Dad repairing it and Mom giving us the speech, but we just couldn't keep our hands off it.

Somebody was going to give me one of those once... It was broken. Once I confirmed it was an actual "Black Forest" the deal was off and they made it "disappear" somewhere.

How come you didn't want it?
Or did they realize it's worth?

I love getting good deal from people who don't know any better. I've picked up some expensive things dirt cheap because of that.

    Wow.

I just had precognition and it has blown my mind! It's been a long time since something like this has happened.

I was watching a video and the guy was talking about his dog. He said "Wait a minute. I'll show you..." He stood up and went across the room to get the dog.

The minute he stood up, I saw in my mind, exactly what the dog looked like.

He brought the dog to the camera and it did look exactly as I had seen it in my mind.

I love when I do this!
