i'm being told that may be a scam...your account hijacked or suspended?.....if someone changes the password on you and then sends a fake email?

 

I would never ever ever send my passport to a corporation

 

they dont require a passport


they need any government issued id that shows NAME and PHOTO.....or NAME and DATE OF BIRTH....nothing else ...everything else can be blacked out using photoshop



ive had to do it twice..first account had such a rediculous name i just changed it to something reasonable and they accepted ....second account needed id proof because id already changed the name once ...i just photoshoped the second rediculous name into a drivers licence and they quickly accepted that too

 

Well it wasn't a full fake name, just a personalized version with a added middle name as an option. I guess they don't really like it.

I took a photo of my lisence to show my first and last name, I blurred all my address out etc.

How long does it usually take though? I was having good conversation in messenger and I cannot even use it.

What if I had a friend about to die or my family was in a plane accident and I wasn't able to say goodbye because some asshole was too worried about what my name was so that people they don't know exist could contact me. Grr.

if you didnt photoshop the fake name into whatever you sent then they will most likely change your facebook name to whatever the id said

that was for the one that they didnt request id for

they just knew it was fake and wanted me to change it to the real one so i put a normal sounding one instead
