corn cobs in colonial times. cheap literature in victorian times (penny dreadfuls) rags for the majority of history. you can wash a cloth diaper, you can use cloth for that purpose as an adult too. i use family cloth for #1 only, but it is a huge improvement over linty labia even if it does involve an extra load of laundry eventually.

This fucking raccoon tried to kill a kitten last night and tonight.

I've set the trap and I have the shotgun loaded.

If he comes back to take the kitten again I hope I can kill him.

I just watched it too!!! :D

So, neither of us could find anything better to watch, huh...but at the end Booth said he had a gambling addiction. I know that's a real thing...but I just don't get it. I'd rather have an empty baggie or empty anything than to risk money and have nothing. mercy

edit: and Bones is pregnant with the 2nd child. :)

My blood was boiling when I finally got to the back porch after hearing the kitten screaming. That fucking raccoon, that normally runs away when I open the door, was bent over the kitten so that I couldn't even see it's face. I could see the kitten kicking and screaming under it. The raccoon didn't run when I yelled. I had to pick up a piece of lumber and slam it down to get the damn thing to let go of the kitten. I swear I'm killing that mother fucker.

Just a few minutes ago I looked out on the back porch and saw where a racoon had been out there...I forgot to bring in the dry cat food I keep out there for Sam. I can always tell when its a racoon (rather than a possum) because the water is way low and dirty.

    I hate them too. :cuss:

    Kill that sob, Aeri! [IMG]

    I hope your's doesn't have rabies...

I like racoons but they can be a pain in the ass when they are wild. I would keep one as a pet if it were legal in Colorado. People really do that. They are different when you tame them sort of like having a furry toddler/cat you feed dog food. But I've been told by people who do have one they have to padlock their kitchen or loose their food.

Both the raccoons have seemed pretty docile until last night when I heard the big one attack the kitten.

Then tonight I saw that it was really trying to kill the kitten and to carry it away.

This big old one comes up mostly at night.

The younger, prettier one comes all hours of the day. Her ears aren't all torn up like the old guy.

She stood up yesterday afternoon and I could see at least on large teat so I know she has at least on baby she's nursing.

This old guy never was this aggressive, so he may have contracted rabies. He has never not fled when I opened the door.

I'm going to try to trap him and/or shoot him.

There are really only 3 cats that use the back porch now, along with the two raccoons. I don't know how many cats I'll catch before I catch this asshole but I'm going to try.

I can't stand hearing it attack that little kitten only about 15 feet away from me on the other side of the glass door. Seeing it's enormous body curled over that tiny kitten and trying to tear it up was too much for me.

All the indoor cats run to the door with me. Poor Louie. I had to lift him out of the way with my leg as I was trying to get to the door. It freaks the indoor cats out really bad. Poor Smokey was jumping up and down at the door watching it happen.

I have never wanted to kill anything before but I know this one has got to go. It's gone evil now.

When i worked outside we would see the hawks hunt the other birds. Fuck them up in the air then throw them down to the ground and stand on their necks while they finish them off.
You would see one land in a tree and there wouldnt be another bird in that tree. They all fly to a nearby tree and look around.
