Why would you go to a doctor if you could do some self-massage and feel better?

They're very expensive but I have seen some of these at adult stores. They range from about 200-700€ and look like something you'd get for physiotherapy. I'm sure they'd be intriguing to play with in bedroom, but I'd use it for my aches and pains. :D

Hearts is fun when I remember how to play hehe. I make up the other opponents and name them like Jonothan, Meredith, Sebastian. Just random names. :D

Just bought a hockey blade off ebay. This stupid hick area dosnt seem to even know what hockey is. How can you be a national store and not have just a couple sticks...i hate buying stuff like that online. I want to see it and touch it before buying. But im not sure i will make it across the bay before the season starts so that will be my backup.

Hockey is by far the best sport to see live compared to on tv.

    Up ya bum hole. :D

Soooo I just had car serviced this morning. Apparently rear brakes down to metal. I ask... Aren't I supposed to feel that?

    You don't feel it?

    No.

    Should have felt it..

    Nothing...

Scamming bastards! Also say all my tyres are worn on the inside. Feel alright to me though. =\

The big tubes (for trucks) are great for floating down a calm river in the mountains.

I couldn't agree more...the more you can do for yourself, the better it is in the end, I think anyway. I look at Mama at 95 who is only now having to go to doctors (for eyes, hearing and her broken wrist), and then I know others that have gone to the doctor for every little bitty thing...and they're in the cemetary.

I would LOVE LOVE to be able to go to a doctor and get a script of valiums; but, I would have to go to more trouble and aggravation than it is worth...even if I really do need them sometimes. (I have a friend that I'm able to "talk" to about this, thank God.)

They have these little patch things that have electro-shock that you attach to the hurt area in Wal-Mart! In fact, I want to get one...and I plan to talk Mama into getting us both one. :)

They sound like a super good idea.

Irmi, if there is a good acupuncturist in your area, I promise it would be worth your while. I speak from experience. You want a good one...that you have to lie on a table, take off your clothes for the area they are going to puncture as well as other areas because even if the pain is just in your shoulder they will (if they are good) put the needles other places so that your nerves are able to "flow" (I can't think of the correct word right now) out and not be blocked.

I wonder if acupuncture would help fibromyalgia. I bet it would.

Oh, and if anybody is thinking the needles hurt...they just feel like a pinch for 1 second when they are going in. If they continue to hurt, you TELL them, it is adjusted and it doesn't hurt...but you also best not move around or it will hurt, and its supposed to. You have to lay there for however long

edit: the reason I no longer get acupunture is because my lady left town...she practices in a town too far away and hard for me to find. :(

My BIL father has parkinson's and occasionally he has gone for acupuncture. For a while it really helped him with the shaking, he said.
