i love st anger. it's just another "growth" imo. some people may look at that growth as a sist or something, but hey; if you know metallica, you know that they're always looking for something new. i agree, but why would have i mentioned it? it's just different versions of original songs; well, except for minus human and no leaf clover. no leaf clover is another one of their songs that i like aot. wha? i hope you're not dissing the black album now. yes it does. just your opinion. music is subjective in case you didn't know. ??? james has always been the best for lyrics. you're looking like a yuppie yourself, with that sig. you suck caveman arse. anybody notice how many metallica fans have completely different music taste to eachother? imo, the metallica fans that have vast music taste are worth listening more too than the metallica haters that have basically no music taste.
I remember shopping in my favorite vinyl (you folks remember them) record store and these fast hitting riffs came over the speakers continously. I had to ask the clerk there who is that playing and he looked at me funny and said it's Metallica's "Master of Puppets". I bought it immediately and took it home and wore out my needle and turntable because back then I hated the beginning of the cd revolution (1987). Now some are saying they have sold out, well so be it. Are we all the same as we were 20 years ago. Their music are going to change as their lives change. Some of the band members are parents, divorced and remarried and that all affects how they write and play their music. I don't like all the the stuff they have made over the last years but for the most part I can find at least a song or two that's worth listening to. Here's my list: Whiplash Seek and Destroy For Whom The Bell Tolls Fade to Black The Call of Ktulu Breadfan Eye Of The Beholder Harvestor Of Sorrow One Disposable Heroes Welcome Home(Sanitarium) Orion Sad But True Wherever I May Roam My Friend Of Misery Hero Of The Day King Nothing Frantic Some Kind Of Monster That's a hell of a list, it could be more in that my top albums are a tie between Master and Justice. One last thing, it's a hit or miss game folks, the band hopes to hit the median core group of fans. Yes the band is in a downward spiral as we speak but I think they are too good to not make it back on top. Peace
