Painting James, some say there is a fine line between genius and insanity. I think they're wrong, its a wide fucking expanse and you're too far over the side of the latter.
Go on then what DID Nikola Tessla do? By do I mean patents, publications, photos and so on. Not fourth hand anecdotes on websites with black backgrounds and green writing by people whos definition of critical thought is taking what everyone else believes and assuming the opposite to be true. We all appreciate that he went into some less acknowledged areas of science towards the end of his career but then so did Einstein infact many of the greats have made this error. Quite how Tesla become the official scientist of the conspiracy nut I have no idea, though im guessing his rotating magnetic field work has something to do with it. In this area im prepared to accept that there may be something going on although Tesla probably didnt appreciate it at the time as it required superconductivity. Infact if its not too much trouble can you give the details of the experiments that proved relativity to be wrong. I will not put down your beliefs or theories but at the same time you have to be able to show they happened. I have no doubt that 'plausible deniability' has been used but you have to be careful when you decide to shout this out to the rest of the world otherwise you just sound like a conspiracy nut.
Youre saying that the Big Bang proves there is no God? So there was an explosion, right? Something came together in order to explode...where did those things-come from? Xx
Polyphase AC power distribution systems, and the induction motors to run on them: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_of_Currents http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polyphase_system Tesla sold these patents to Westinghouse, who developed them into the electrical grid we know today. Because of his work with magnetic fields, the SI unit for magnetic flux density is the "Tesla".
back in my first year electromag i got B and H confused and answered everything with B=A/M, ill never get that muddled up again.
People react violently when people such as yourself insult or demean people that have actually doen something for society, besides bitch and smoke weed. Tesla was important, but he also claimed to have made a "death ray." Go figure. Einstein was anti-war, a pacifist, and was one of the smarter people around. He believed the atom could better serve society by providing cleaner energy (yes, nuclear is the cleanest viable source, more so than hydroelectric, which disrupts the surrounding environment). He also believed in learning purely for the sake of information. Einstein was one of the most untraditional thinkers actually. Ever seen his pictures? And that he stole his ideas from a patent office? That's just bogus. Take some thorazine, and if that doesn't cure your stupidity, try Sodium Cyanide tablets.
Einstein's contribution to the atomic bomb was the concept that mass could be converted into energy, and that a nuclear chain reaction could be used to create a weapon. The rest of the work was done by others. The actual weapon design was done largely by people relatively unknown, like Seth Neddermyer and George Kistiakowsky.
Ellis, you didn't finish the Tesla story. Tesla's main backer after lighting the first towns in America, was J.P Morgan, the ruthless businessman. He financed the initial phase of construction of the Wardenclyffe tower, thinking it was going to be a huge power plant as Tesla said. However, Tesla left out the final stage of his plan and when Morgan found out Telsa was planning on the "wireless distribution of power thoughout the world" by tapping into the earth's energy with the Wardenclyffe Tower, he backed out on his contract with Tesla and thus the Tower was never completed. Westinghouse was already in danger of losing his business because he had so much invested in Tesla that all the following propaganda emmited by Edison and Morgan put his name in ruins , so he could not nor possibly would he allow the Tower to be completed fearing that he would have nothing to sell.. Morgan summed it up best by saying "i can't make any money selling antennas".
Tesla was no mere engineer, and his concepts were unphathomable to businessmen with corporate interestes to sell sell sell. a good book on this subject "the wheelwork of nature", but there are many more that would prove to be a wise investment if you were interested in the potential of mankind, and not in the potential of a few fucks making money and the rest destroying the planet. And on that note, as with anything good there can be the potential for bad. Tesla was the first to recognize this and confirmed that his technology could be used for bad, thus the Death Ray. The FBI raided the hotel he was staying at upon his death and stole all his papers out of the wall safe, and set out to slanderize his name, calling him an espianoge agent among other denouncements, which they used to destroy the Tower to thus try to harness the power of the cosmos to their own ends, in secret of course. WOuldn't want the commies getting ahold of charlies know how!
and that pisses me off because all Tesla cared about was the embetterment of humanity, and he got screwed over so many times by edison and morgan and Washington and einstein, to name a few, that he was getting quite used to it and never allowed it to interfere with his golden blueprints for the people. Only to have the people turn out to be a bunch of sheepish pruned prudes unwilling to defend the man who selflessly worked all hours of the day and night his entire life to bring his vision of free energy into fruitition. Worse yet, they turned against him and to be sure everyone would forget about it all, Einstein was their new golden boy for the flock to worship, as all proper ignoramisus are in this fowl age of 1984. had to be somebody a little eccentric so the public would buy the fact he was such a genius he had no time for public appearances, which is total crap. he was a moron! Tesla always gave public speeches about what was going to happen in the world when his technology advanced, well dressed as a president in very much respect and appreciation of his position of power. (literally) He made science exciting, and was the true Wizard and a proper showman to boot. IT's too bad little babies listen to mommie and daddie who listened to mum and pappy who saved the planet from this communist threat of appreciation of nature and Her energy.
I still dont see why he was superior to Einstein, infact almost all of his achievements are as far as I can tell electrical engineering. You could certainly argue that he is to electrical engineering what Einstein is to Physics. Im still not seeing any conspiracy theory. Im not demeaning the work Tesla did, he probably was the first person to master magnetic fields but I still dont see why that makes him the patron saint of conspiracy 'supporters'.
``We are confronted with portentous problems which can not be solved just by providing for our material existence, however abundantly. On the contrary, progress in this direction is fraught with hazards and perils not less menacing than those born from want and suffering. If we were to release the energy of the atoms or discover some other way of developing cheap and unlimited power at any point of the globe this accomplishment, instead of being a blessing, might bring disaster to mankind... The greatest good will come from the technical improvements tending to unification and harmony, and my wireless transmitter is preeminently such. By its means the human voice and likeness will be reproduced everywhere and factories driven thousands of miles from waterfalls furnishing the power; aerial machines will be propelled around the earth without a stop and the sun's energy controlled to create lakes and rivers for motive purposes and transformation of arid deserts into fertile land...'' Nikola Tesla, "My Inventions: the autobiography of Nikola Tesla", Hart Bros., 1982. Originally appeared in the Electrical experimenter magazine in 1919.
Inventions: a telephone repeater, rotating magnetic field principle, polyphase alternating-current system, induction motor, alternating-current power transmission, Tesla coil transformer, wireless communication, radio, fluorescent lights, and more than 700 other patents.
Tesla is the Master of Occult Ether Physics bitches, you better recognize /holla j/k i love bitches (female dogs), they're awesome...yall a mindful flock i'll give ya that
Very interesting thread !!! There was an earlier theory called the "steady state" theory that implied the universe is infinite in age and yet expanding. It also answered the question of the background radiation nicely. No one at the time could figure out how particles could materialize out of nothing, though, and yet zero pointenergy and quantum vacuum deal with these problems now on a regular basis. maybe "steady state" needs a review. Also, there is a relationship between the size of a black hole and the diameter of the event horizon that increases in a geometric way. Tiny black holes have even tinier event horizons. Giant black holes have huge event horizons. A universe with the approximate mass of the one that we live in has an event horizon that is just about equal to the visible universe that we can see. In other words, it may have NEVER exploded and we are living within the universal blackhole and can never excape it. the artifact of universal expansion is also something akin to vanishing point in personal perception. Each individual sees his or her world expand away from their own unique position in space and time. We are the center of our own unique and personal universe...I find the coincidence to be a little bit too pat and maybe we are making a mountain out of a universal molehill when it all just boils down to personal vantage point and perception. Don't read too much into simple things.
ah but see where resorting to name calling goes...every time...nowhere good. i was only kiddin anyway...we all have a lot to learn.
damn bamboo!! hello to you ! haha i was just thinking about this television program i saw, National Geographic i think it was, and they were talking about the 4 theoretical ways the Earth could end for our generation. ScarlettChasingroses was watching it with me, and she would remember better than i about all four of them. But there was one in which i remember vividly. It was the last one mentioned, good ol number 4. And it explained how it is theoretically possible a black hole could be opened right here on Earth by tampering around with cold fusion and not knowing what you were doing. I think it was that, Scarlett would know better than I. But it was a friggin black hole could be opened and slowley get bigger and bigger sucking everything into it like a living entity...and slowly devouring the entire earth for an appetizer... I just thought that was really strange, like When the hell did that become an option? LOL! I mean they even showed, on the National Geographic show, how corrupt scientists could do this and acted out the whole thing. Perhaps events in "the celestine prophesy" mirror the beginnings of these only on a global scale, such as the earth splitting open and earthquakes caused by shady buisnessmen tampering with stolen Tesla technology at discreet locations within U.S. national parks. These shady characters had a device that was trying to tune into the strong earth currents in this anceint sacred place in Appalachia. They ended up almost destroying the entire valley, but such events were shrugged off as normal occurances because they had the place completley sealed off by secret type policemen who were neither here nor there, but everywhere
There was some old cat in the 20's or 30's (not tesla) that found a crystal in Norway or denmark or something like that and rigged the crystal to a ground rod and a large but crude antenna. He would dink around with it and get it "tuned" then it would start producing electricity....LOTS of electricity. he could light 50 or 100 light bulbs or run electric hot plates and things like that BUT could not run any device that involved impedence. resistance worked not no inductance. Well the crystal turned out to be germanium and it was functioning as diode along with a tuned circuit that was taking ground charge and returning it through the air...wonder why no one ever followed up on that? I'll see if I can find out his name.
Sounds like an overgrown crystal radio to me. So what is the source of this "ground charge" that it supposedly picked up?
