Tyrsonwood,I believe that's a '66 Dodge Charger--the red one. Man I love those. 2nd favorite car after '50 Oldsmobiles, which are my favorite. Had 2 50s and two 49s along the way.
that's awesome. Get rid of those hideous wheels. I mean, they MIGHT be fine on another car, but not on that. I can't decide if the haggard roof rack gives it anything, or not.
her plan is simple. Drive it, with the 8 spoke mags and the roof rack both classic vw stuff. my guess is she'll drive it for a year or 2 and then give it to her daughter. But you never know, it's got one small rust problem so it could be fix and painted pretty easy.
.......Those are classic VW stuff? Anyways, if not going for the ratty thing, there's the $50 paint job.... one of the original cars done that way was a bug, looked great.
Roof rack is cool with stock wheels/hubcaps, but with rims like that.. no way. If you want to keep the rims, cut the roof rack off and get a nice metal flake paint job. :2thumbsup:
she could trade those fancy rims in for some steelies and OEM hubcaps with fresh rubber all around, and quite possibly have a little bit of change left to do whatever with.
