service was nice, im no longer catholic, but i dont like the changes that have been made. the main one that bugged me today was the "peace be with you, (and also with you) " they have changed it to "peace be with you (and with your spirit.)" in looking into it i can see the logic, but i dont think its "right" certainly not in all the places it was used. it shouldnt be separated the same way, it feels ao awkward. if they must change it, it should be "peace be with you, and your spirit (and also with you)" but even that is awkward.
meh, whatever i guess, not my faith, not my problem.

i spent a lot of time crying, for selfish reasons. they had "tears in heaven" on a short song list at the luncheon, and on loop. i was just like, no. i need to be somewhere else.

Broony, I'm very interested in watching "The Conjuring" since its supposedly based on a true story...but I can't get anybody to watch it with me. My bff nor my special/challenged friend won't watch scary movies. gad I just don't want to get these spirits here all worked up with that movie. lol I want to watch it at bff's house. I might still talk her into it. She loves Sons of Anarchy.

My son got me a new 24" Samsung tv for my birthday, so I'm pretty psyched about that. I told him that I STILL wanted him to get me a card, as I love his cards and save them. He gave me the tv early. :2thumbsup:

 

Yeah he just yells over his guest so they can't talk and acts like he wins. I can't stand him but part of me thinks he knows he's a troll asshole. He is playing a part and dosn't really believe it, he just knows that is where the ratings are.

 

I know people like that, ML, and all of them - in my meager opinion - are just begging someone to HELP them out and explain facts to them! This could include not only calling them on their fucking bullshit backhanded comments/compliments but also ripping their soul out so they can SEE it.

I'm glad though, that the family overall got the opportunity to say good-bye and have closure...and that you were there to help your hubs.

As hokey and all as this sounds, I honestly believe that when we help and emotionally support others, we help ourselves. Of course that should NEVER be the reason to help someone...that is just a little facto that my little in-my-head-voice reminds me of at times.

 

Sons of Anarchy is good but I just have not seen enough episodes... I not seen many tv shows hopefully I get Netflix this winter and just chill.

The Conjuring... that movie was really fucking creepy. Once the detectives say they have basically 'done this before' it gets wild.. course..I watch a lot of movies from my desktop and lay in my bed. I have my computer headphones on so I don't bother anyone in the house.. it is so much better to watch films unless you have surround sound.. but...SHIT dammit that film was creepy. Id watch it again but id have to wait a while to get a good scare again. Cant watch those films over and over..
