gonna be a late night.. not feeling tired at all.

 

Sometimes Brownie and BB will suddenly look up above my head and stare for a while (which that does creep me out a little) or in a part of the room where there is nothing I can see...well, nothing that isn't usually there.

Sometimes I want to know what they see, and then sometimes I find myself thinking I'm happy not knowing what all they can see.

tweaked my back a bit lifting a cylinder head onto the block...damn thing is so tiny it wasnt the weight it was just a weird twist

at least im finally getting some of my own stuff worked on...i need to get this car running or at least moveable before winter hits

been so long since i took it apart im having trouble remembering where all the bolts go...but im pretty good at laying them out the way they came off so that helps a bit

 

I hear ya on laying them out..

hands on I have a great photographic memory, just having to remember notes mentally is harder..

one guy work with just does what he has to do, amazing production. another guy reads and looks at everything so much its almost a waste of time, but he does amazing work.

I look at both of them and am glad im not 48-60 with children and divorce papers.. lol dude at almost 60 gets laid often though... props from him on that..


my rig needs all new breaks... sucks.. other than that the 4runs so strong. love my 3.4V6, 5 speed fucking moves man.

ive been busting my butt today. working outside, moving lava rock and trying to throw away puncturevine seeds. its too wet to till, but thats ok, gives me more time to shift more rocks. gotta tear out some half-dead pine trees. gotta move more rocks. gotta get a bunch of mulch. like, a whole bunch. i really want to order up a truckload, though i dont know how they would line it up to empty it into the yard.

and i really dont know what to do about the east side of the front yard. its sunken down a bit because previous owners had a gravel driveway, and they just shoveled some dirt over it and called it good. so its 2-3 inches of dirt over "who knows how much" gravel. and i know i shouldnt till through that area until i get the rocks out, and its valuable real estate for my garden. so i dont know. i could do a separate raised bed in that area, since then i wouldnt have to till down, but i dont know. we will see i guess.

dog is feeling better, eye seems to be healing, she will have a scar im sure. we will take her back to the vet monday.

 

^ i bought a tiller today for 5 bucks....needs an engine but for 5 bucks i couldnt pass it up...it only has a 3 horse vert (simple lawn mower engine) on it now but any mower engine will fit they all have the same standard mounting holes...ill probably find a nice cheap 5hp or 6hp to throw on it ....when i need an engine i look for lawnmowers for rotten out decks...most of the time when the deck is rotted busted up the engine is still good...when they have good decks they were most likely tossed because the engine is conked

 

sick of doing fucking dishes.

house has double sink... average size I think...no dishwasher, 70s stove.. but we have no counter space in this fucking place, and I don't want to build shelves.

our kitchen is very big 12x10 empty floor feet and we have enough countertop space for barley 1 person.

roommate and me taught each other to hurry the fuck up, cause we can sit many people while the cooking space is 14 by 18 inches....lol

 

Raised bed... You do not want to dig out an old driveway.
