You just made me think, I should my several-times-yearly bath.

Although I just washed my hair two days ago, bath water is inherently nasty, probably shouldn't be dragging it in there. Oh well.

I decided against the bath, and for the salmon. Turns out I have two pieces anyway.

And I'm probably finishing the bottle - I can eat five bucks at mcdonalds, this is probably a lot healthier and better for my general wellbeing, might as well treat myself. Not like I go out or do anything crazy, anyway.

 

When I take a bath, as I'm finishing up I begin letting out the water then stand up and shower off all the bath water. That's the only way to go.

In movies and shows when a woman is in a bath with a glass of wine and her hair is just barely piled on top of her head and she has full make-up on...I wonder who in the hell does that?!?

For sure I'd break the glass...much less the other ridiculous stuff I don't see working. lol

I'm off tomorrow and should be asleep now so I won't spend all day laying around.

I'm reading a book by Joyce Carol Oates, "We Were The Mulvaneys". That is why I can't sleep...I know LOTS of people just love her books, she's won awards, etc and bla bla. However, when I read one, it frustrates the hell out of me, makes me depressed that there are really people out there that have lived/gone through the shit she writes about...and I promise myself I'm not reading another one.

This time I mean it; but, I'm finishing this terribly depressing book first. :-/

 

they have plastic wine glasses .. i suppose that would be safe in the bathroom...

I have a huge plumbing job to do. Hot water heaters are "special order" I won't have one until next month.

I wonder why some stations play the same shows over and over and others dont show a repeat but still dont have any quality new shows.

 

are those shows owned by the same network?

there are only a few owners in the business... im guessing its a marketing scheme.

80 degrees here today....and tons of lady bugs on the front deck. I never saw so many lady bugs in one place. What is with that?
and stink bugs are all over in the attic....ye gods.....ugh.....
I am so glad I put the flannel sheets and flannel heavy blanket on my bed the other night when it was 30 degrees. Always happens....lol

 

I keep 8 million blankets in the attic....all individually in clear plastic hefty sized bags.......not that many.... ...but alot of them......summer ones....winter ones....you name it...they are comforters really...mostly purchased at rummage sales for the many animals here, but I have them for people in the attic, as well...so the other night, I am looking for the winter flannel comforter for my bed, and in every clear blanket bag, there were stink bugs, mostly dead ones...apparently, they had found their way into the bags to get warm....but on the floor there was an army of them marching across the floor and single file.... :yikes: . I got the hell out of there in a hurry. I never saw them up there like that before....there is a fan that goes on automatically if it gets too hot up there, so they are getting in through the openings of that, I think...They are pretty harmless, really.....and I just could not bring myself to stomp on the live ones so...I had to leave and pretend they were not there....out of sight, out of mind kind of thing, I guess.....

 

I had a roommate who wanted to save every bug we found in the house...
