Hi guys.I've kind of lost interest in the forums since I really started to get into my Buddhism again.I'm probably brainwashing myself with it but it does seem to be working on a few levels though.Man I snorted so much Ephylphenidate recently I got so high I could barely talk.Two friends basically hung up on me I was making no sense.I had 5 grams of the stuff,I had to throw half of it away in a split second decision,which I'm still regretting.Thing is it's so cheap,and the high is unearthly,like totally charged.Probably shouldn't get any more,it doesn't sit well with my Buddhism,but then I admit I'm a bad Buddhist.But my intention is good,and that's the main thing.Anyway,ciao for now!

My house mate ate my fucking lunch last night. It was left over pizza... dammit... he was too high and didn't realize it was on my side of the fridge. dammit. he doesn't ever eat my food, he very respectful. He has really bad vision though.. as bad as someone who is 60 years old... so I'm guessing once he opened it he was thinking 'i forgot i had this' cause he works at a pizza place as a side job..and he couldn't see the toppings... fucker its mine... and now no lunch... haha

he brings pizza home a lot so its all good. but dammit it was my lunch!

I don't think being a Buddhist means you can not use drugs. Yes "intoxicants" are looked down upon but to me that is a very vague term. I have always thought he was referring to things like opiates and alcohol. Those are the things that cause suffering, the lack of a clear mind. Of course I am pot head so I would like to think the two can mix. As I am sure you know though these sort of personal judgement calls are part of Buddhism, you are encouraged to debate. Something like weed which is a good medicine to ease pain and when taken as intoxicant does not create violence is no harm. If you are addicted that is different but like with many other things the middle path is good. Use it sometimes but not too much. At the same time never using it might not be the best path either, perhaps you can learn something or at the least enjoy your existence. There is nothing wrong with joy. Ephylphenidate might not be as harmless, that is up to you.

 

religion is the worst thing in this world

if people would just forget religion ..use common sense ....and be kind to each other this world would be a much better place

but of course even if we did that there will always be a few dipshits to ruin it for everyone else

I feel like religion is a concept that came about long ago to be able to justify war and death.

These days, when I look around the world, I don't see religion as the peaceful, transcendental experience it is claimed to be, but rather a reason for war (Israel/Palestine, ISIS). Or at the very least,a barrier that separates us from other people, and a cause for the belief that we are somehow better than others based on choosing "the right religion".

That being said, there are plenty of people who are religious and are not nut-cases. And I can definitely see the benefits of the community aspects of religion.

 

I see Buddhism as a philosophy rather than a religion,and while there have been violent acts committed in the name of it,these are relatively few.

Ephylphenidate is pretty harmless if taken occasionally as a treat,although it is a bit harsh on the nose,but this recovers quickly.I like it,but don't know if I'd recommend it.It needs to be taken in moderation with discipline.Too much can induce a freaky hyper manic high,which I recently experienced.If I'm going to do it now and again I need to learn to handle it better.

Rainy day today... Got some stuff done this morning, then went to the bank. Now I'm not doing anything... Hurt just sittin'. Fug trying to do something.

You shouldn't use the term "common sense" because you are automatically viewing a person to have the same values and ideals that you yourself hold and we all know how untrue that really is. Common sense is to the individual, not on a large scale group.

this is frustrating, been this way almost 5 years... cause 95% of dog bones shatter into 100 pieces like splinters.

only thing that doesn't is special raw hide bones which are harder to find than ya think... and animal horns, and they are expensive..

their has got to be a solution to this cause i want more than one pit someday.. haha
