Not even close. :D ...add 20 years.

That's true. I did read the whole thread. I was sad I missed the best bits.

If you can think of another timeless question I'm sure people would be willing to take a crack at it. (Pun intended)

Maybe not, if it's going to interfere with sex and/or meals.

Aehh, stick with the truth. That wholly subjective answer would provide no information about reality.

I have to laugh the question off. The answer would be both yes and no relative to perspective. Laughter is caused by yes and no being present at the same time and place.

I think I should have asked: Are women only good for sex and cooking?

It has to be a yes or no to all women.

If a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

I once read a theory on this, I think it was Descartes who wrote it. The theory is this (short version); the fallen tree made a sound that was perceived. Because god (in whatever form) is omnipresent, the sound was perceived by god.

Here's my response to this. Because god (in whatever form) is omnipresent and omnipotent, god created/was the sound the falling tree made.

Does god create/be if no one is around to perceive it?

I don't think I should have mentioned women in my question, tbh.

I think less vanity all around would be helpful to the well being of everyone.

Depends on if the tree is alive or not.

The tree is as alive as your or I, for it is you and I and god (in whatever form).

Why did that question stop you?
