The best way to integrate a new cat into a household is to get about 20 cats that look identical and put them all over the house. Your existing kitties will have too hard a time dealing with the Twilight Zone to worry about the new cat...

if you have the heart go to TheGrannies facebook page, it is dedicated to senior kitties and finding home for senior kitties especially seniors on death row at animal shelters. I have an amazing senior rescue kitty (vet said 15 years old +) living with me now; no teeth, can't hear and was hit by a car in the past; she has tons of love to give and doesn't mind showing it.

I cannot believe I haven't seen this thread until now! Anyway, how simply wonderful for you, Paddington, and any/all others that are "sent" to you.

I am just so happy for all of you...and since you have all that land and space to explore, I'm sure you know that he is just as thrilled as can be. Undoubtedly, he was meant for you...especially after coming in relatively dry after a night of rain...and being still new there.

This was just a fine, fine thread to discover at 5am. I'll be laying my head down with .
