I hope today was better for Paddington. He was probably just trying to figure out who was the boss. Sounds like he found out.
Thanks For That Aerianne, Paddington Is A Bit Lighter, And I'm Pleased To Say The Local Paper Refunded The Cost Of Tomorrows Ad, So Far I Haven't Received Any Phone Calls To Todays Ad, But Who Knows, I May End Up With A Dozen Birmans Before The Sun Goes Down.... Cheers Glen.
The best way to integrate a new cat into a household is to get about 20 cats that look identical and put them all over the house. Your existing kitties will have too hard a time dealing with the Twilight Zone to worry about the new cat...
if you have the heart go to TheGrannies facebook page, it is dedicated to senior kitties and finding home for senior kitties especially seniors on death row at animal shelters. I have an amazing senior rescue kitty (vet said 15 years old +) living with me now; no teeth, can't hear and was hit by a car in the past; she has tons of love to give and doesn't mind showing it. ** warning **some of the stories will make you cry and piss you off at the same time http://www.************/thegrannies
Glen How many cats do you have today? How is Paddington settling in? Does he like his new found freedom and the great outdoors?
Famous Last Words GLEN, Guess What Pet Lovers, I Got A Phone Call A While Ago Asking If I Found My Cat. The Lady Then Said She Had A 4 Year Old Chocolate Point Birman Boy That She Could No Longer Look After, And Would I Consider Adopting Him.... Like Paddington He Comes With All Breeding Papers, All Medical Details Are Up To Date, And He Is Microchipped. I Can't Pick Him Up Till Tomorrow Morning Because I Had A Couple Of Glasses Of Wine For Dinner, And I Refuse To Drive Even After One Glass. That Dozen Is Clearly In My Sights Peeps, Two Down....Ten To Go.... THE CRAZY CAT DUDE STRIKES AGAIN.... Cheers Glen.
When She Got To The Bit About Re-Homeing Her Cat I Just Broke Up Laughing.... Then Quickly Explained To Her Why, And Quoted The Post About A Dozen Before Sunset. I'm Still Not A 100% Sure About The Colour As She Was A Bit Vague Describing Him, But I Guess He's Either A Seal Point Or A Chocolate Point.... I Now Live In Constant Fear Every Time The Phone Rings...:hide: Cheers Glen.
I cannot believe I haven't seen this thread until now! Anyway, how simply wonderful for you, Paddington, and any/all others that are "sent" to you. I am just so happy for all of you...and since you have all that land and space to explore, I'm sure you know that he is just as thrilled as can be. Undoubtedly, he was meant for you...especially after coming in relatively dry after a night of rain...and being still new there. This was just a fine, fine thread to discover at 5am. I'll be laying my head down with . Cheers to you, my friend, GLENGLEN. :2thumbsup:
Arrived Home With The New Guy, And He Is A 4 Year Old Seal Point, Identical To The One In The Pic Aerianne Posted Here.... Cheers Glen.
As Of 6-00pm Friday 1st June....Five, But All That Could Change Next Time The Phone Rings.... Cheers Glen.
