I like it. I like it a lot. Seriously, The Cure are super good. Like chocolatechipcookie said, listening to them brings back some memories, but unlike any other band can do. The music is not so depressing to me as it is beautifully melancholic and sweet.

 

I *heart* the Cure. I love Robert Smith. My fave songs are Lullaby, If Only Tonight, Love Cats, Let's Go To Bed and Snakepit.

 

I have much love for The Cure, their songs are just so, intense I guess would be the right word here Let's go to bed, Close to me, Why can't I be you?, Just like heaven, Friday I'm in love, The kiss, If only I could sleep tonight... argh, I could go on forever!

Don't think "the Cure?" is goth though, they were around a long time before anyone ever used that word. They were usually called post-punk, considering they started as somewhat of a punk band then elvolved. Listen to "Heroine Face"
