Hey peeps! I've been reading and getting into some semblance of a routine, meaning I'm trying not to be awake all night and sleep until 11. lol This is something I'll probably always struggle with until the day I'm worm food. I remember in high school having insomnia...being awake at midnight, then 1am, then 2am...I'd always quit looking at the clock around 2:30am since 6am was GET UP time for more years than not. Meds (legal or no) never worked to actually make me go to sleep. There is a small part of me that honestly understands and can relate to someone (like Michael Jackson) that is willing to do almost anything to get just a few several-hours-in-a-row sleep or rest.

Ori, I'm so glad you (and the gf) are going to Hawaii for vaca! WOW that just has to give you a great feeling inside, knowing that is coming. Plus to see your son - I think its going to be great. One of my predictions is that you both (him especially) will click right off, and you both will find it surprising the many things y'all share in common.

I personally think there is a lot more to genetics, and inheriting or "passing on" part of one's self, even personality and character traits, than many people think possible. Eventually there will be a way to test it, imo - it just isnt known yet how to measure. or something like that. :)

Sunday came and I was set and ready to go get that dog down the road. By Sunday morning around 9am I had decided what I was going to do...I made sure Princess was still on the porch...she was. She likes the porch (which is great), so I shut the door.

I walked down the road with Jack's leash (that is a strong, fine dog leash!), an old-timey metal can opener in my pocket and a can of dog food...which will go out of date next month.

I know how to friendly call out for a dog. I also can WHISTLE :D .

nothing. the only dang thing moving (or alive) in any yard within my sight was a horse swishing his tail. smh

I walked back down there later and no dog.

These animal sites on fb get to me, as in get to my heart.

but this is something I feel deep within that I need to do...go to the sites, my area (the upstate) and read and share, and pray for these animals.

It tears me up more than it should, I think. So...I'm here posting about that there. lol I'll shortly start the process of getting "ready" for the day. Mama and I are heading up the road for supplies...which means Mama needs things, and its good for her to go places.

Its also good for me to get fattening things such as cookies and cashews, which Mama will get for me when I put them in the basket.

Yeesh we just got spanked in pool. I lost all my games. Against best team in our division, these ex division one players. I tried a different approach against them, knowing I couldn't hold my own in a straight up sniper shootout, I decided to play tactical but it was still my game my way. I lost my games. Maybe perhaps I needed one more visit to the table in the games. Two at most and I know one tactic I failed on missing a snooker shot and didn't get to have another shot. Then in another game I hit this hard cut and left the red over a pocket. I was happy, it tied the pocket but but I never got another visit so kinda bummed it never dropped.

But was all of experience against these good players and that's what counts. :) you could spend... 200..300€ on training lessons by these guys, id rather just play against them in a comp and learn it for free. :D

I wonder if people think that when they do a fast edit that no one happens to see what was posted before they did it. Then turn around and try to take the high road........[IMG]

    Oops...you saw that?
Anyway I went to ocean city and had 2 growlers with me so I figure I will stop by a couple breweries and get them filled. First place I ask for their darkest beer and then so I don't get something I don't like ask for a taste.he says you can get a flight plan but it's against the law to give samples. Now I been to many breweries in MD. And could always get a taste. So maybe it's a town law...I had a couple beers already so I didn't want a flight then drive home. So I get the best sounding beer and head off. On the way home I stop by the next brewery (just a couple blocks away.) I walk in and ask for the darkest beer. He says "the porter want a taste"? I said no I have had it before I know I like it. He says "no take a taste" then pours me one without my asking. (The tips reflected the service) I was at the first place before and I remember commenting to someone that the beer was good but service sucks. So I shouldn't be surprised. And I didn't ask for a taste the first time so I know that wasn't why I didn't like the service the first time.

when done cutting grass always move your mower to onto cement or where there is no grass.. if you park the hot mower on grass the heat from above will dry it out.. < experience.

You probably could care less about the mature trees that are in dire stress also... But that's happening too. Little to no snow last winter and no rain to speak of this summer is effecting everything. Not just "grass". The invasive weeds are doing fine though.

The people who insist on rattling their cars with sound annoy me. All you hear is the bass and you are wrecking the car. All your latches, the glass, even the engine they will pay eventually. A proper audio system will not do that but you will still feel the bass. Mostly seems to be fans of rap having a pissing contest. Nothing matters but how annoying you can be. You can't tell me they are getting quality sound from all this but it makes old ladies turn their head.

Usually like this video it's fun because it was too loud?

I wonder what their hearing will be like in the future. When you can identify the track with the windows closed in your vehicle and theirs, it just may be too loud. :)

"The amount of marijuana being grown in this operation could have produced hundreds of thousands of illegal marijuana joints that would have had a serious impact on the Edmonton region," the RCMP stated in a news release.
