it is happening at an alarming speed.........I have a friend that sells usually 10 pounds every 2 months.....he didn't even bother this time around because business dropped off 99 % ....everyone here is flocking to the various stores etc

today they announced anyone with an actual federal card can grow 15 plants

 

Very long day but back at home now. Had a few hours of nap. Spent yesterday horseback at the races, I got to be horse support staff of sorts, so on the mare behind the starting gates. When the race horse get anxious before gate entry it was my duty to brush my horse up against them and let her try to calm them down. It was really fun and cute actually. Long day in the sun though, and I feel I may be windburned. I wore lots sunscreen so should be okay with not burning. Afterwards I really just wanted to pack the girl up and be done with it but there was cleaning up to do... Then there was free food and drink for event staff. so long day, but I think I really did enjoy it. My back hurts now though, so hot warm bath now and I have an inkling I may just be able to sleep well later in the morning.

I thought the mare did the opposite....got the horses all excited?.....but calming makes sense.....do you just notice the horse excited or does the jockey signal you to come rub?

i stole my moms bill organizer because she wasnt using it. that was about a week ago. i have still not used it.

 

Sounds like when I buy DVDs. I laugh at my collection of stuff sometimes I go through looking for stuff to watch or listen to and there some stuff still in its packaging and I looking at it... and I put it back down. and keep on looking. And i have console games
I have bought and never played or played once and that's it. Ugh.

The deer were out in the front yard this morning when I woke up. One of those fawns has this odd interest in interacting with me. She's kind of a brat, but in a cute way. Last evening the two fawns were laying out under the pine trees. I went out and sat down in the grass about 20 feet away... Little deer got up and slowly started walking towards me, stopping every 3-4 steps and acting like she was eating something. (like, "no, I'm not walking towards you... I'm just walking towards you") When she got about 5 feet away she stomped her feet and took off in another direction. (I say "she" but at this point it could be male or female, they aren't developed enough for me to tell)

We finally have had rain and it has done some good as it has been slow and steady for the most part. We are suppose to get some real down pours today but at least they will be absorbed now that the ground is a tad wet. My garden is happy and my lawn is not so dry.
