When I was a kid the B17 was my favorite plane... (now I don't have a "favorite plane") There is a restored one in a museum about 5 miles from here. I don't know if it could be made flight ready though.... They are so big and old most of the remaining ones have severe metal fatigue issues.

Those 10 were probably built last and used very little. Wiki say the one here is "air worthy"... They may get it out every year when they have their air show. It sounds like WWII bomber runs at my place when they do that because they fly vintage planes over my house. Freaky...

well the tree that feel didnt do any damage. the assholes with the bulldozer bent my fence all up... bound to fix it myself so it look proper. pulling out corner pipe, put a brand new one in. bitch ive to dig all that up and try to get right.. ive decided to retake area over since that big tree was blocking the sun. put up a privacy fence starting with that corner first...

I like the idea of the mirror, that opens up a room and makes it appear bigger. But what idiot stands in a room with a mirror and thinks to themselves, hey there's a whole new room over there, with a person inside that look exactly like me. I can understand the parrot or bird becoming a little confused, what I can't understand is that, if the parrot is under the impression there's another room in the mirror, and he wants to get into the room, why doesn't it try avoiding the other parrot?

I like stuff like that but don't really own anything like it at all. It'll come one day.

If I could find a place to decorate my house in furniture of this fashion, I'd be super happy.



We be up for a new lounge soon. We have an old antique lounge now, extremely heavy, the cushions themselves weigh over 20kg. It looks extremely hard to sit on but you really sink into it, spins everyone out, you wouldn't expect it. But the downfall is it just isn't comfortable to sit of for long periods. I seem to always have a bruised tailbone because of it. Two people don't fit on the sofa side either, it's extremely uncomfortable and I feel this directly effects the armount of intimacy in the lounge room.

So maybe an antique lounge, even if puffy and purple, is not for us. We'll end up with a leather sofa I think. One that can maybe push out with foot rests and more room for spooning purposes. We have our two stand alone seats now. I guess, we never sit together anyone. I don't like it.

I've never done acid. I don't think it would be good for me.

 

I had a friend who took acid at the Gathering of the Juggalos and was convinced Jamie Madrox gave her a ride on a golf cart. She swore this for years but was also schizophrenic with a major crush on him. She was killed by a drunk driver, I miss that girl. She was nuts but good nuts. :dizzy2:
