you can have god and pot at the same time. just because you smoke weed doesn't mean your a religionless heathen.

 

I went to church for a long time and never received anything from God. What a waste of gas money.

 

first off about quiting herbs.

yes if you smoke all the time and you quit you will feel more alive. why? because smoking all the time makes it so if your not high everything seems dull and boring or just not as great. then when you do quit after being a heavy smoker depending on your mind and the way you live it can take a couple of weeks to a month till you start feeling alive again why sober. if you don't believe me quit for a month and watch it will feel as if your life was cloudy for a while. so the lesson learned is don't just smoke to smoke. save weed for an occasional enjoyment you'll enjoy it a lot more. if your sitting around your house and your bored don't toke up to take away boredom go exercise or find an activity to do. keep your tolerance low and save toking up for when you go camping or something with your friends.

no onto the part about christianty. a true follower of christianity does not believe in religion. religion is actually considered evil and full of lies. a christian does not follow a rule book. being a christian is connecting with god himself and the holy spirit and seeking guidance. Yes, a big part of being a Christian is accepting the fact that humans are sinners and forgiving humans for their wrong rather than hate. You can feel dissapointment toward another human but never hate. Another big part of christianity is not serving the world. Meaning Christianity stands for individuality and not being a follower. Christianity stands for trying to accept humans for their diffrences rather than hating on people for being different. Christianity is about showing love and acceptance toward other human beings. A big reason many get twisted views about christianity is churches that speak off their own moral beliefs rather than christianity itself. the reason churches do this is to get support from goodie goodie families with moms and dads who want their kids to grow up to be goodie goodies and the church tells these kids that if they are not good and don't follow these moral conservative beliefs they are gonna burn in hell to scare them into being goodie goodies. yes, it's a very corrupt and a lot of the time these churches are businesses to bring in profit. so all in all you can't trust most churches though not all churches are corrupt but the majority of them are.

anyhow I could keep explaining more but I think you guys get the simple idea

edit: ok ima add more after reading some of you guys posts. ummm God gave us life and everything on earth. God also gave every human a concience and a choice to do bad or good. God made us so we can do whatever we want. He gave the whole world to us and all the animals and plants to serve to us. sooooooo that what he did and now he watches from up above his creation. now it is not God who made wars but us! all of us humans could of chose to live peacefully with one another but WE CHOSE to fight of land food and everthing. so don't blame god for war and hate but blame ourselves!!!!!!!! I dislike when people blame god for all the bad in the world because we are the ones who created it. God is not going to stop it. Why? because he let's us do what we want he's not gonna get involved with what happens in the world. He's not automatically gonna stop evil in the world with his power because he said he thats up to us. so if we wanna murder then god is gonna let us and he is not gonna stop us because like I said he gave us a choice to do whatever we want. So I hope this made sense if not somebody come up with a counter argument.

Christians who pray to or for statues do not know what they are doing. I myself pray to Yahweh(God) in the name of Yeshua(Jesus Christ) wherever I am at the time I feel is right. I understand that no statue or cross necklace will save me only God.

I think by sanctuary you mean sanctity(which is holiness, saintliness, or godliness) according to dictionary.com And in that case yes there are a whole lot of hypocritical sinners in the church thinking these things. Because the Bible tells me so. haha. I am one of them, I am a hypocrite, liar, thief, etc. But I am trusting God that He has forgiven me. It's not by works that I am saved, lest I should boast, but by faith.

You are so close but yet so far my friend. We were made to enjoy communion with GOD. And He sends His many blessings which we are to enjoy(Like these yogurt covered pretzels I am eating). So Your beliefs are cool my friend, but all that they are are your beliefs you thought up on your own. Which is what I did, I would get high on drugs and make up my own little philosophies about life and whatever... The thing is, that if you want to know God you might actually have to do things His way: Be born again, love your enemies, love your neighbor, love the Lord your God, etc.

It's not about being controlled by a machine god. It's about submitting to a God who knows better than you do because you love Him and want to please Him and He loves you and wants the best for you and every one else.

I am sure you went to church. But are you sure you ever gave God a real chance. and are you sure that you actually ever encountered the Holy Spirit, the real thing, a real alive and moving God? or did you just encounter a pew and a sermon?

Bro, please if you go to church again go some where pentecostal or filled with the Holy Spirit, I would reccomend staying away from catholic churches and lutheran churches. Try a non-denominational church or Pentecostal or assemblies of God.
