Rain... I think I remember what rain was.

 

We've had so much to be honest. When we get few days break, Thor swings past with a week of thunderstorms. I like the thunderstorms though. Just so wet, everywhere we tread in the mountains turns to mud. Luckily not many people been too interested in horse riding this season so they're kept quite clean thankfully. If it continues to rain how is it, I say my working season may be over very quickly. Be interesting to see what my roles are now during winter season now that I'm the head manager of our hostel. So far I've done great job keeping alcohol running smoothly lol. We'd always have run out of a keg of Lowënbraü or Späten by now, but not since I took over. It's like... Prohibition style or something. Can't run out, we needa run more and more booze through the hills into th hostel.

 

Has any of yall ever had crawfish or crawdads? Or crayfish? Just wondering what they taste like. And do you really get any meat out of them?

Sounds like typical seafood lol. Costs an arm and a leg and you don't get much.

 

I napped this afternoon (ALMOST ALWAYS A MISTAKE) and then I stupidly ate firecrackers late (DOUBLE mistake)...even from the good batch of material, that's just dang stupid ignorant to eat firecrackers late.

I do not have the slightest desire to do a thing productive.

I also have to go get some stuff done up the road tomorrow, and I do NOT expect it to be easy to get up in the morning. good grief

I only recently learned that there are ''nice'' hostels.....I always thought of them as low budget places for hobos and hippies but my daughter has friends who own some in brazil.....they are qquite nice

CBS had an interview with Trump and Pence on 60 Minutes last night. Although Pence was directly asked questions Trump would mostly but in with his opinion. Pence mostly looked like a bobble head agreeing with everything Trump said.

I think of hostels as places where you meet other people and share common areas. Kinda like the idea of the one in that horror movie just without the slasher aspect lol unless of course you upset Irm. Then she met start slicing and dicing.

But ours is 4 stories. Ground level is kitchen, dining, bar, outside. Then 3 levels of rooms. 4 rooms per level. Bunk beds mostly lol. It's not five star. The point is to sleep as less as possible and have as much fun as possible. Of course there is couples rooms and nicer rooms if you want but for most people just throw all in together, they don't sleep anyway it's all party party party. Same routine every night lol. There'll be someone lighting the vape shots and jäger bombs for everyone. Gets pretty messy when the whole thing is booked out can be 25+ people yahoo for a week.

 

i thought hostels were where they kidnap young tourists to harvest them for their organs and sell them on the black market.
