every morning I have to walk through dozens of webs that appear overnight and stretch right across the garden path....my garden path this year is much bigger than usual years so many many spiders.people here on the island spray for spiders....I don't even bother killing them anymore.....big yellow and black ones are a bit messy looking :)

enjoy some peace and quiet here kids because I am up to the other farm for the rest of the week I hope......

i cant remember ever killing a spider...i mean i have sent several to their doom knowingly but hey if you are going to climb under that board i am about to drop, well thats your problem. but i cant remember a single time where i squished one with a paper or anything like that because i just wanted it dead.

ok there was once or twice when i was a kid that i learned about plucking legs off of daddy long leggers and i might have plucked to many legs for the poor spider to defend itself or hunt for food...but i hear that daddy long leggers are not technically spiders so if that is so then.....yeah...

I leave the small house spiders alone but anything bigger or anything making a web has to go. I turn into a little girl around those things.

outside spiders i leave alone, but do my best to identify. inside i allow jumping spiders to live. only ones i go well out of my way to destroy are the venomous ones, black widows and brown recluses. i havent seen any, but we do have some brown widows.

Old games are all about timing. If you memorize it you can beat the whole thing in 10 minutes.

So... I guess I have a Ninja Chipmunk. I had just put some food out for the birds, which means the squirrels come to steal it. Chipmunks get some too, but at least they don't climb up and steal everything. So I'm sitting there watching the birds and here comes one of the squirrels. Out of nowhere comes a chipmunk running at full speed. He jumps up and double kicks the squirrel square in the head with both back feet, lands and just stands there holding his ground. Squirrel backs off slowly wondering what the fug just happened.

I'll pretty much dispose of any spider that I cross paths with. Ardent hatred for the little buggers. Especially if they're bigger ones. With ugly bent legs that live in the ground like a wolf spider. Looks like I'm going to be wearing a gas mask and commencing insect holocaust on my property. :D

Hmm I think alone camping can be the best camping because you have all your thoughts to keep you company and to me that's what really shines when camping is this obsolute stillness and quietness that when the sun goes down, all you have is your mind to keep you entertained. I guess if you're stressed or depressed or worried about something then yeah I can see you don't want to be alone with your thoughts but if you need a head clean then it could be really good for you.

I'll always go and like, i won't look for a spiritual journey or anything like that, but it's the small things. Watching animals. Starting a campfire. Sharpening a stick... And then just your creativity in general. Start making traps or a cubby house and stuff. :)

I don't often camp on my own at all but I'll go bye bye for a day on my own and it's just fulfilling. Being out there, with the crows watching me and trying to track down a wolf of the tracks can be spotted. Finding a wolf is very accomplishing for me. It's a thrill. Knowing it's probably on my tracks, but it won't attack me. I'm one with it I declare!

If I'm real camping with other people it's a completely different ambience. Because for starters... The people I go camping with being out huge speakers and generators and it doesn't feel like traditional camping, just a big piss up with city benefits out in the woods.

Every so often. More like every day. You gotta get away from these folk, find somewhere quiet to enjoy the surroundings. And when I'm sparkling full of wisdom again from being one with nature, then I can wander back and see what the clowns are doing at the circus. :D

I get those too if I sleep on my arms awkwardly, I dream they're being sawn off. Also tummy aches I dream I'm being stabbed.
