Last month, up to 15 agents who tested positive for the virus loaded into cars and drove themselves home, avoiding flights after becoming infected while preparing for President Donald Trump's campaign rally, according to another source familiar with the situation.

Republican governor of Abbott acknowledged people's desire to attend events but he also stressed that people have an obligation to adhere to reasonable social distancing efforts to protect others.

You know what... I really don't want anything to happen to Mt Rushmore, but what if the sound vibrations from Trump's little "everybody luvs me" party causes the whole thing to collapse and start a brushfire that wipes out half a state.

Think he would get re-elected even after a blunder like that?

 

As an aside, that dumb broad who is the governor of South Dakota is a real "winner".

 

Mt. Rushmore was meant to be a tourist trap. I mean why else would you go to a Dakota? And it's just simple history the men on it were not pro black and they were chosen because of their views on the white race. Even Lincoln was not really up to modern BLM standards. He just wanted to keep the US together. It's on stolen land blowing and up a mountain to put those men on is to those people what putting a statue of Bin Ladin or Stalin in DC would be to Republicans. It's so telling that again Trump and his cult flock to these symbols of white power rather then the general idea of America as a united people.

Trump would like to be sculpted into the middle of Mount Rushmore holding a Bible upside-down in one hand and a bazooka in the other with him and the objects obstructing the faces of the other four.

 

Just like his buddy, chum, and pal - Vladimir Putin just did. He's now in complete total power until 2036. Rump must be slobbering. He has publicly praised Putin, Xi Jinping, and Kim Jung Un for their "very strong leadership styles." When ANY U.S. president praises, envies, and fawns over such COMMUNIST DICTATORS like Rump has, they should immediately be removed from office.

It makes me REALLY WONDER about his loyal flock who also claim they love the Constitution - the document that sets up an ANTI-MONARCHY / ANTI-DICTATOR type government. One that gives the people a democracy, with 3 branches of government to serve as checks & balances against each other. But Rump has an addiction to total power ………….. that's why he envies those COMMUNIST DICTATORS. You CANNOT believe in the Constitution and at the same time support Rump ……….. or anyone like him.

All of Trump's campaign staffers who worked on the rally in Tulsa were quarantining last week after interacting with several colleagues who later tested positive for coronavirus, CNN reported at the time. Campaign aides are tested before events, per the Trump campaign's safety protocols.

The news of Guilfoyle's test comes not long after Trump Jr. posted images that falsely suggested that masks and face coverings don't help prevent the spread of the highly contagious virus.

Experts say wearing a mask or other face covering could reduce the transmission of Covid-19 by as much as 50%.

Earlier this week, Trump Jr. posted an image on Facebook of a lab where scientists were working in certain hazmat suits known as positive pressure suits. Text on the image says, "This is what virologist wear to protect themselves from a virus. Don't worry, though. Your bandana probably works too.""

 

Everything …………………………. E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G this man does confirms that to Rump ………………….. it's all about him. His stated desire to have his face added to Mt. Rushmore is just the latest testament to his self-aggrandizing, self-centered mentality.

I love the fact that while he's bitching about Confederate statues being taken down all around the country ……………………. his own Rump name has been taken down off so many buildings & businesses he once owned!!! Nobody wants his name attached anymore!!! Looks like the "cancel culture" has spoken out against Rump!!!

Someone please pass me more popcorn, Goobers and Raisinettes ………………. I'm enjoying this comedy.

 

I love the fact that some of Rump's faithful flock of REPUBLICAN GOVERNORS have had to reverse course on the face masks, social distancing, and racing to "re-open everything."

Given the advice of the experts in the fields of infectious diseases - who couldn't see this shit-show disaster coming???????? Make fun of the experts advice = get bit in the ass. How many more will die, or have life-long after-effects from Covid-19 like permanent lung damage, loss of smell & taste (as some have not regained), and circulatory system inflammation / kidney / liver damage???

 

Unfortunately... It's not comedy.

Trump preferred to use the early worst-case scenarios of projected 1 to 2 million deaths in the U.S. that didn't include social distancing as his baseline for making misleading claims that his administration did the best job ever at controlling the virus.

For a couple months he did essentially nothing to prepare the U.S. for the virus, even after it was clear that is was causing serious problems in Asia and Euope.
