A few days after another incarnation of his supposed sobriety, Trump was back to his old self. Pundits heralded Donald Trump for his new 'tone'. That didn't end well ... The Republicans are starting to die of COVID-19. Gomert has it and Herman Cain has die of it. I'm not sure if my memory is correct but seem to remember he attended Trump's Tulsa Bull Shit event. And now Trump is saying he will delay the election, because of voter fraud of course!
Trump's story sounds like a fake. Apparently he became jealous of Fauci throwing out the first pitch and then made it appear that he had received an unsolicited invitation from the NY Yankees to throw a first pitch (which he probably didn't because NY seemed confused by what he claimed). A few days later, Trump said he had to cancel the supposed first pitch event because he was too busy working on the virus (golfing). It also insinuates that Trump is working harder on the virus than Fauci. It's another example of Trump's internal mental masturbation that tries to stoke his ego. He has used this approach before, such as claiming he wanted badly to attend the House impeachment hearings but didn't. He wanted to be questioned by Mueller in person but didn't meet with him. He wanted to run into a school unarmed to save the children from a mass shooter but never would. He wanted to release his tax returns but supposedly couldn't because of an audit. He wanted to attend the New Hampshire rally but canceled it because it might rain.
The congressional underclass erupts in fury after Gohmert gets Covid-19 The men and women who make Capitol Hill run are anxious and angry about the risks they've been forced to take amid the pandemic. By ANNA PALMER 07/30/2020 12:38 PM EDT The congressional underclass erupts in fury after Gohmert gets Covid-19 excerpt: "The revelation Wednesday that Texas Republican Louie Gohmert, a renegade lawmaker known for stalking the halls of Congress without a mask, tested positive for Covid-19 has unleashed a fusillade of anger on Capitol Hill — a sudden release of built-up tension over how the institution has dealt with the coronavirus pandemic within the confines of its own workplace."
I went back and checked: Herman Cain attended Trump's Tulsa Rally two weeks before he came down with COVID-19. He was photographed with out a mask. He even tweeted a photo of himself and with friends ... without a mask.
I wanted to add that only Congress can change the date of a presidential election. Furthermore, the constitution says that if a presidential election is delayed, the presidential term must still end on January 20th. Trump, and his minions are too stupid to know anything about how government works.
Bill Montgomery, co-founder of Turning Point USA, died of the coronavirus. Turning Point USA is the group that organized the student rallies in AZ, including a packed indoor rally of thousands in Phoenix on June 23, 2020 with a lack of face coverings. Phoenix has been a coronavirus hotspot. Trump addressed the group and mocked the virus with names such as Kung Flu while the students cheered. Turning Point USA co-founder dies of coronavirus-related complications Bill Montgomery started the pro-Trump student group along with Charlie Kirk, its current leader. By DANIEL LIPPMAN and TINA NGUYEN 07/29/2020 05:55 PM EDT Turning Point USA co-founder dies of coronavirus-related complications excerpt: "The co-founder of conservative student group Turning Point USA, Bill Montgomery, has died from complications of the coronavirus, according to two friends of his. Montgomery, who started it in 2012 with young conservative star Charlie Kirk, died at the age of 80 on Tuesday from Covid-19, according to pro-Trump conservative strategist Caleb Hull, who posted about the death on Twitter and his personal Facebook page, and Chicago-based citizen journalist Vic Maggio. “I really wish people would just stop politicizing this pandemic and grow up while innocent people around us are dying,” Hull also said. “You have no idea how painful it is to be forced to sit at home while your loved one dies alone in a hospital.”"
Trump acting like a bigoted stand up comedian, testing the waters with trash jokes. Trump Made a Racist Joke in a Phoenix Megachurch and the Crowd Went Wild It was hard to say what moment was uglier at Donald Trump’s rally in Phoenix: when the president made a racist joke or when his fans urged him to do it. Robert Mackey June 24 2020, 4:50 a.m. Trump Made a Racist Joke in a Phoenix Megachurch and the Crowd Went Wild excerpt: "As soon as Trump said, “Wuhan — Wuhan was catching on,” the crowd began to murmur with excitement, clearly anticipating that the president was about to repeat the slur his aides had spent the previous day denying was racist. When Trump drew out the tension by offering “Coronavirus” as the next name in his list, one excited voice after another shouted from the crowd: “Kung Flu!” “Kung Flu!” “Kung Flu!” The president completed the call-and-response by saying, “Kung Flu, yeah,” and was met with frenzied applause. Oza’s footage shows that several young men leaped to their feet, pumping their fists in the air in exultation, apparently thrilled to see their hero transgress all bounds of common decency right in front of them. Weijia Jiang, a White House correspondent for CBS News, who reported in March that a White House staffer had made the same racist joke about the disease to her face, noted on Twitter that “Trump relished the feedback” from the crowd in Phoenix. “He often tests out material at rallies like a stand up comedian, and it appears this is going to be part of his act,” she added."
Attending that indoor trump rally without a mask and with the coronavirus running rampant in Tulsa was tantamount to suicide.

Gross domestic product — the broadest measure of economic activity — shrank at an annual rate of 32.9% in the second quarter as restaurants and retailers closed their doors in a desperate effort to slow the spread of the virus, which has killed more than 150,000 people in the U.S. The economic shock in April, May and June was more than three times as sharp as the previous record — 10% in 1958 — and nearly four times the worst quarter during the Great Recession."
