As a Christian, I find Trumps' pharisaical use of religion and the Bible as election props even more disturbing than his efforts to wrap himself in the flag. In a recent interview on Fox, he said that Biden and the Democrats were against religion and the Bible. Trump tells Geraldo Rivera that Biden and Dems are 'against the Bible' Nothing is too low for him to stoop in his desperate efforts to cling to his power. He couldn't even hold the Bible right side up when he used it and the backdrop of a church to announce his "law and order" response to the George Floyd protests.

 

It goes away with the heat.... ~VG

 

Maybe Trump will change his tune on testing.

Trump can meet with the relatives of the deceased and tell them that it's not as bad as it looks. He can try to support such a claim by having his staffer quickly show them a chart that he doesn't understand.

He can console the relatives of the downtrodden victims of the coronavirus who deaths account for a much higher percentage than the rest of the public. During his 2016 campaign he talked like he cared about them greatly. He could even invite them to his golf course instead of wealthy, famous athletes and offer them a free can of beans from Goya Foods.

He could also tell the relatives of the victims of the coronavirus that in desperation he recently petitioned the Supreme Court to fully strike down the Affordable Care Act passed during the Obama administration.

In Trump's mind, that will make the downtrodden he appealed to in 2016 feel good that he is trying to completely trash the form of healthcare that helped them with no replacement by him or the Republicans in Congress.
