The right wing nut jobs are all excited about a fake Russian report which had been seeded in American web-sites. The fake story complete with made up pictures was even shared by Trump junior and Ted Cruz. The pictures show people burning bibles next to some home made Black Lives Matter cardboard sign. The original fake news piece was made up by RUPTLY ... a Russian outfit. Ted Cruz wrote, "This is who they are." Well, I say, "This is who the stupid Republicans are. They believe anything the Russians say."

 

Trump angrily accused Obama of giving an angry eulogy at a memorial for civil rights activist John Lewis, an event that Trump didn't attend after contending that he has so much interest in the black community.

Later he nastily accused Kamala Harris of being nasty after previously donating money to her campaign which she donated to charity.

 

Trump didn't attend the funeral of civil rights activist Rep. Elijah Cummings.

He also didn't attend the funerals of Sen. John McCain, Rep. John Dingell, and former First Lady Barbara Bush.

Trump has the distinction of being a type of person who others say they don't want at their funeral, John McCain and his family being an example.

 

The casket of Lewis was at the Capitol in DC, yet Trump didn't attend. It conjures speculation that he wanted a more convenient location for the casket, such as his golf course.

Trump took the time to tear gas a gathering so that he could hold a Bible upside-down in front of a church, yet he can't take the time to visit Lewis.

 

Trump is just a cheap charlatan.

 

Even if that were so, is that any worse than having a fake christian holding a bible upside down?

at that news conference yesterday, where trump talked about Kamala, trump said she had been rude to Biden. This coming from a guy who calls Biden, Sleepy Joe, and calls Elizabeth Warren, Pocahontas. In my opinion, trump looked worried.

 

And a guy who pays women for sex, huh? And a poor wall builder, huh?

 

My VP preference was Liz Warren, because she would go after corporate crime in a bold manner. I will vote for Biden & Harris because our country needs corrective action immediately. Trump has damaged every every government agency and now is attacking the delivery of mail, which is a thinly veiled attack on our elections. He is with no doubt serving Putin..

 

They would not accept him. He can't spell Engelbert Humperdinck.

 

Harris was not my first choice, but I think she gives the ticket energy, and motivates people. I think Warren would be a good Secretary of Commerce, maybe Mayor Pete in some cabinet position, and bring back Hillary too.

 

Many so called "christians" that make up part of Trump's base probably wouldn't know that bible was upside down... Never having touched one themselves.

 

Probably still plays with his G I Joe. (and no that's not a sexual reference) ..lol...

 

Wonder why Lajoy has canceled overtime and is having mail sorting machines removed from various locations right in the middle of a pandemic when mail in voting is most important? Wonder why the USPS had to fund 75 years of retirement pay IN ADVANCE for future "employees"that haven't even been born yet? Oh yeah--that's right --- Bush and the republicans signed that bill when he was president costing USPS billions that drove them into the red.
This is not a democracy. This is a nation half full of useful idiots ripe for the takeover, facilitated by right wing legislators that are no more than empty husks. They and their lying media supplicants with help from Russia, China, Iran, etc-----will/are making this the dirtiest , nastiest, most disgusting display of immorality I've seen in the 81 years I've been around.
They control the mail--they control the election.

“Dear Parents,” wrote Dr. Ashley Kennerly, the principal of Sixes Elementary School. “I am writing this letter in order to communicate that a student in 2nd grade has tested positive for Covid-19.”

By the time the last bell rang on Friday afternoon, principals at 10 other schools had sent similar letters to families in Cherokee County, a bucolic and politically conservative stretch of suburbs north of Atlanta. This week, more letters went out.

Altogether, more than 900 students and staff members in the district have already been ordered to quarantine. On Tuesday, one high school closed its doors until at least Aug. 31."

"David C. Williams has resigned from the board of governors, and Ronald Stroman resigned as Deputy Postmaster General.

Pascrell says their departures will leave only one Democratic member on a board comprised entirely of Trump appointees.

“Should the Board take any action to impede VBM for elections or put the USPS at greater risk for financial calamity as a result of political pressure, it would be in violation of their statutory responsibility to represent the public interest,” Pascrell said. “The resignations of Mr. Williams and Mr. Stroman suggest undue political influence.”

Pascrell said that attempts by the Trump administration to influence post official policies “would be an affront to the American people and undermine the USPS operations that account for 47 percent of the world’s mail.”

Trump has named Louis LaJoy, a North Carolina businessman who has contributed over $2 million to Republican causes since 2016, as Postmaster General. LaJoy will be the first political appointee to the post since 1971."
