Trump claims he beat Obama in 2016 Donald Trump’s Mental Fitness Questioned After He Claims In Tweet That He ‘Beat Obama 4 Years Ago’ | News Break
Trump tries to justify his own protest that lacked social distancing after saying that the resurgence of the coronavirus in the U.S. was a result of protests about Floyd's killing and people coming in from Mexico.
Those anti-maskers would eat raw chicken to show their undying support for Trump. It's crazy that people are basically protesting science. WTF is wrong with people?!!
Pennsylvania Farmer Who Voted for Trump in 2016 to Speak at DNC: 'He Conned Me' By Matt Keeley 8/15/20 at 8:01 PM EDT Pennsylvania farmer who voted for Trump in 2016 to speak at DNC: "He conned me" excerpt: ""He's a hell of a salesman. And a tremendous con man. He conned me," Telesz told the paper. Telesz' disillusionment with Trump dates back to at least 2019, when he was quoted in an article by WTAE-TV condemning Trump's tariffs on China as hurting his farm. "When you start taking a 20 percent cut, it can be very stressful. It is stressful," Telesz said at the time, calling Trump's subsidies to farmers to offset the tariffs a "Band-Aid." "I would rather have a free and open market," he said at the time. His opinions haven't changed, telling New Castle News in an article published Saturday, "The last year has been the biggest challenge, financially, that I can remember.""
Covid-19 is now the No. 3 cause of death in the US. And testing to find and isolate cases has dropped off By Holly Yan and Madeline Holcombe, CNN Updated 12:47 PM ET, Mon August 17, 2020 Covid-19 is now the No. 3 cause of death in the US. And testing to find and isolate cases has dropped off - CNN excerpts: "The testing situation is not good in the United States. What we're not picking up is people who are contagious," said William Haseltine, chairman and president of ACCESS Health International. "We're probably missing 8 out of 10 people who are contagious. And any decrease in testing is worrisome because we're not already doing well. And if you don't pick people out of a crowd who are contagious, then the epidemic spreads. ... This epidemic is still spreading widely." ""One of the reasons that testing is decreasing is that supplies aren't being shipped to places that can test. I think it's part of a strategy not to count how many people are infected," Haseltine said. Another reason is that people may be less motivated to get tested, knowing it can take several days or longer to get results. And major delays can make some tests "borderline useless." Dr. Kent Sepkowitz said he's worried some states may be taking cues from President Donald Trump, who said "when you do more testing, you find more cases," which might make the US "look bad.""
Herman Cain didn't state exactly when he first experienced symptoms. It's not likely that Cain, who died of the coronavirus, took the test the same day he first experienced symptoms and received the test result the same day. He was informed of his positive test result 9 days after he attended the rally, closer to 8 considering the rally was an evening event. Delays due to his attitude and the testing system could have pushed first experienced symptoms to 5 to 6 days after the Trump Tulsa rally, making it one of a number of probable public engagements where he could have contracted the virus in spite of some in the Trump camp claiming it was impossible. Cain's dismissive attitude about the virus, similar to Trump's, doesn't give confidence that he immediately seeked out a coronavirus test after first experiencing symptoms or that he took the symptoms seriously at first. Cain stated on social media that the public had enough of social distancing the day he was admitted to a hospital, and that was on July 2, three days after his positive test result on June 29. The dismissive attitude of a portion of the public hampers abilities to combat the virus in addition to shortcomings of a testing system that is nowhere near as good as what Trump claims.
Trump keeps carrying on about his cognitive test as if it is a difficult IQ test when it is a simple screening to assess cognitive issues. He has a misguided perception of the function of the test and uses it to boast repeatedly about what he thinks are his superior mental faculties. His perfectionist raving about his test results is consistent with his symptoms of narcissism. Even though the cognitive test isn't made to measure such issues, Trump's narcissism seems so deep that it is reflected in his own assessments of how he thinks he did on a test, whatever the purpose of the test might be.
More concerning is that it's still not enough evidence for his cult to leave him. Literally the same things they have accused Biden, and Bernie of and it's right there in their man. I think even Fox news has shown the test. It's not an IQ test and not a test where you need to understand the topic. It's what you would expect a 7 year old to know. What animal is this? What time is it? etc. Regan was probably suffering from dementia while in office and it's well known Nancy took over. Trump is there too.
America is following disastrous Trump advice to slow down testing Opinion by Kent Sepkowitz Updated 12:42 PM ET, Fri August 14, 2020 America is following disastrous Trump advice to slow down testing (opinion) - CNN excerpt: "Public health experts know that the only way forward in this pandemic is to increase, not decrease, testing. This is how other countries reined in their outbreaks -- testing, plus doggedly tracing and isolating people who are infected. Here In the United States, the National Basketball Association, now playing games without interruption, has shown the effectiveness of a very aggressive testing policy. But don't look now, America: for the past few weeks, we have followed President Donald Trump's dangerous and deluded advice, memorably delivered from a stage in Tulsa Oklahoma six weeks ago, "to slow the testing down, please." Bigly. And the drop in testing is happening at the same time that case numbers across the US have shown a drop as well, the latter to great fanfare; the former without a peep."

Former senior Trump administration official endorses Joe Biden By Jeremy Diamond, Jake Tapper and Michael Warren, CNN Updated 5:34 PM ET, Mon August 17, 2020 Former senior Trump administration official endorses Joe Biden - CNNPolitics excerpt: "In the video, Taylor accuses Trump of directing FEMA to withhold disaster funding to California following devastating wildfires in that state because voters in that state had not voted for him for President. "He told us to stop giving money to people whose houses had burned down from a wildfire because he was so rageful that people in the state of California didn't support him and that politically it wasn't a base for him," Taylor says in the video. Taylor also accused Trump of wanting to reapply the "zero-tolerance" immigration policy that separated migrant children from their families in a more draconian fashion in order to deter illegal immigration. "He said he wanted to go further and have a deliberate policy of ripping children away from their parents to show those parents that they shouldn't come to the border in the first place," Taylor said in the video. And when officials pushed back on many of Trump's demands because they were illegal or unfeasible, Taylor said Trump responded by citing "magical authorities" he claimed to have as President."
