The great testing system that Trump claims he built didn't stop the White House from becoming a hot spot. Testing is ineffective at stopping the virus unless people abide by safety guidelines that Trump has flouted. In spite of promoting what he says is a great testing system, Trump and his doctors have refused to release information regarding when he last tested negative before his first positive test result and if he has tested negative recently. It's assumed he hasn't yet tested negative for the virus since being diagnosed. If he had, he would have been bragging about it.
Trump's refusal to state when he last tested negative before his diagnosis indicates that he wasn't being tested as often as he claimed. McEnany once said he was being tested multiple times per day. Trump disagreed with her later but gave a sketchy remark about how often he thought he was being tested. Such information also might reveal that he knew he had tested positive but went ahead with events that put others at risk. He's impeding efforts to contact trace to determine who else he might have infected, crippling the very testing system about which he has been bragging.
People still think Trump and his bungling staff are going to protect them when they're unable to protect themselves. Amateur hour at the Trump White House The coronavirus outbreak at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. is just one facet of a much deeper presidential malaise. by JOHN F. HARRIS and DANIEL LIPPMAN 10/11/2020 07:01 AM EDT Updated: 10/11/2020 11:24 AM EDT Amateur hour at the Trump White House excerpts: "Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany’s briefings are largely dismissed as mere entertainment by reporters, not a source of reliable information or, on frequent occasions, any information at all. Earlier this month, she didn’t know at her own briefing that presidential counselor Hope Hicks, to whom she had been exposed, had tested positive for the virus. After Farah publicly promised to release the numbers of White House aides infected with coronavirus, a few hours later McEnany said they wouldn’t provide those numbers for “privacy” reasons." "Meadows recently internally announced that many of the White House liaisons at the agencies were going to be replaced, leading to chatter in the administration about why McEntee didn't make the announcement himself. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson also publicly embarrassed McEntee by inadvertently letting reporters see his notes at a speech in late September, which revealed that he was “not happy” with how PPO was handling his department."
Not surprisingly, the clueless McEnany contracted the coronavirus. She's too busy writing and rehearsing her smart alec comebacker scripts to read to reporters to try to cover her mistakes instead of paying attention to what matters.
Kayleigh McEnany Can Confirm That the Virus She Claimed Wouldn’t Come to the U.S. Is Now in Her Body At this point it would make more sense for White House staff who haven’t tested positive to announce their results. By Bess Levin October 5, 2020 Kayleigh McEnany Can Confirm That the Virus She Claimed Wouldn’t Come to the U.S. Is Now in Her Body excerpt: "Here she is claiming that Trump never downplayed the coronavirus on the day Bob Woodward released audio tapes of him admitting he’d done exactly that: https://twitter.com/atrupar/status/1303742977597206528 Here she is, on the day the death toll reached 186,000 in the United States, attacking Nancy Pelosi over an unfortunate haircut: https://twitter.com/atrupar/status/1301569231922900992 And here she is insisting that 200,000 dead people only proved how awesome Trump has been at tackling the virus: https://twitter.com/atrupar/status/1308458028203675648"

Pompeo says he plans to release Hillary's emails before the election after Trump complained about him. After Trump criticism, Pompeo says he will release Clinton emails - CNNPolitics excerpts: "Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Friday announced he would release more of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's emails -- an openly political move on behalf of President Donald Trump ahead of the November election and a year after a State Department investigation concluded there was no "persuasive evidence" of widespread mishandling of classified information by Clinton or her aides." "On Tuesday, former CIA Director John Brennan accused Ratcliffe of selectively declassifying documents to help Trump. "John Ratcliffe is anything but an intelligence professional. It is appalling his selective declassification of information. It is designed to advance the political interests of Donald Trump and Republicans who are aligned with him," Brennan said."
A Trump supporter is driving his car with his friend. He keeps running red lights at intersections which alarms his friend. He says to his friend, "Don't worry. Trump does this all the time." Later, they approach a green light at an intersection. He stops at the green light and spends a few seconds looking carefully left and right at the cross-street.. The perplexed friend says, "it's a green light. Go! What are you looking for?" He replies, "Trump."
Like Pompeo, Ratcliffe changed his mind and ratted out on people Trump doesn't like. John Ratcliffe Pledged to Stay Apolitical. Then He Began Serving Trump’s Political Agenda.
Hospital staffing shortages have become another issue for Wisconson regardless of average hospital bed occupancy.. The statewide average percentage of hospital and ICU bed occupancy doesn't consider conditions at local hot spots which may be more burdened. A statewide average could be 80% but a local average could be 90% or higher. Trying to transfer patients to other cities or regions of the state isn't trivial. Field hospital at Wisconsin state fairgrounds will open for COVID-19 patients AP October 8, 2020 / 11:00 AM / CBS News Field hospital at Wisconsin state fairgrounds will open for COVID-19 patients excerpt: "Hospitals across Wisconsin are also experiencing critical staffing shortages "largely due to staff members experiencing infection or exposure to the virus in their communities," Department of Health Services Secretary-designee Andrea Palm said in a statement. An ICU nurse at Ascension St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, Wisconsin, said the field hospital reopening outside Milwaukee will help with bed capacity, but that frontline health care workers are stretched thin. "It's scary, and I'm scared of fatigue. I'm scared of losing nurses 'cause they're getting fatigued and sick," said Jennifer Bosetski, who has been working 16-hour shifts. The state has now seen more than 138,000 total coronavirus cases and over 1,400 deaths due to the virus, according to the COVID Tracking Project. It's not just Wisconsin dealing with a surge. Nine states reported a record number of virus hospitalizations on Wednesday. And 31 states are now reporting an increase in the average number of new cases."
Trump himself may have been patient-zero of the White House coronavirus hot spot. 'He just thinks about himself': America's reckless, ill president excerpt: "It is hard to overstate the willful indifference towards the health and safety of those around them – and of themselves – that such behavior entailed. In a wider sense, it also exuded a disregard for the security of the American people, sending a message that health protocols are for wimps, even within the beating heart of the US government. As Carol Anderson, professor of African American studies at Emory University, put it: “The Republicans are suicide bombers aimed at our ship of state.” Public health experts were even more aghast by the White House decision to forgo any effort at contact tracing of the Rose Garden event. Alongside testing, contact tracing is the basic building block of any effort to contain the virus, allowing officials to identify who has been exposed and get them into isolation; without contact tracing, the disease is as free to roam as a wild horse on the Texas plains. Reiner described the lack of contact tracing as “inexcusable”. The only explanation for such an aberrant decision, he now believes, is that the White House feared that the exercise would discover the individual who was the source of the outbreak, “patient zero” – and that it would turn out to be Trump himself."
'He just thinks about himself': America's reckless, ill president excerpt: "It’s hard to know when the current White House Covid outbreak began, because officials have refused to divulge when Trump received his last negative coronavirus test. Given the symptoms that he clearly displayed on a fundraising trip to New Jersey last week, it seems highly likely he was already infected at the first televised presidential debate with Joe Biden at which several members of the Trump family and crew turned up ostentatiously unmasked.""
Trump seems to have forgotten about his forgotten people. He's doesn't say much about coal miners and farmers. In 2020 he has concentrated on promoting culture wars and race baiting, exacerbating and capitalizing off the urban unrest that in 2016 he said he would end. Trump is now president: 'The forgotten ... will be forgotten no longer' David Jackson and Doug Stanglin, USA TODAY Published 5:46 a.m. ET Jan. 20, 2017 | Updated 10:58 p.m. ET Jan. 20, 2017 Trump is now president: 'The forgotten ... will be forgotten no longer' excerpt: "In a frequently dark address that Trump said he wrote himself, the new president offered his litany of the nation's ills, including mothers and children trapped in inner-city poverty, rusted factories "scattered like tombstones across the landscape," sweeping crime, gangs and drugs, and a failing educational system."
Trump misrepresented Fauci in a recent campaign ad, making it seem that Fauci was praising Trump personally. Trump's doctor hasn't been taking questions from journalists. Trump takes his Covid misinformation machine back on the road - CNNPolitics excerpts: ""I'm immune. So, the President is in very good shape to fight the battles," Trump said on Fox's "Sunday Morning Futures," in comments that misrepresented his own capacity to spread the virus if he is exposed to it again. A tweet along the same lines earned a warning from Twitter that the President was spreading misleading information about the virus. The President's proclamations about his own health followed another opaque memo from his physician, who cleared Trump to end isolation but who hasn't taken reporters' questions in a week." "Further underscoring how Trump puts his own political goals ahead of his duty to lead the emergency response, Dr. Anthony Fauci on Sunday objected to being misrepresented by a Trump campaign ad hailing the President's pandemic leadership. The ad creates a false impression that Trump's handling of a virus that has killed 214,000 Americans has been a famous success, and features Fauci saying, "I can't imagine that anybody could be doing more.""
18.6 percent of people in Wisconsin who got tested for COVID-19 over the past seven days were positive for the disease, - that's crazy
Trump has already made an excuse if it turns out that he himself was patient-zero. In his typical narcissistic fashion, he blamed his coronavirus contraction on relatives of the military and other people who visit the White House and hug and kiss him uncontrollably for all the good deeds he claims he has done for them.
Yeah I’m sure the Gold Star Families just want to kiss him and hug him uncontrollably ...lol... Just ask Khizr Khan ....lol...
