Interesting because I don't think Trump sees himself as "old". He is clearly a very vain person and I don't think his ego can handle reality.

Trump shared a picture mocking Joe Biden as a nursing-home resident as polls find seniors abandoning the president

President Donald Trump on Tuesday shared an edited image of Joe Biden depicting the 77-year-old Democratic nominee as a nursing-home resident as national polls find dwindling support for the president among older voters.

In the meme, Biden’s face is superimposed on an image of what appears to be several nursing-home residents in wheelchairs. Underneath, the letter P in “president” is crossed out so that the caption reads “Biden for resident.”

Trump has recently made an effort to reconnect with older voters as polls have found significant shifts in their support away from Trump and toward Biden. The president last week tweeted a video in which he called seniors his “favourite people in the world” and described himself as one.

An NBC/Wall Street Journal poll conducted in late September and early October found Biden leading Trump by 27 points among registered voters over 65 — 62% to 35% — representing a 23-point swing toward Biden in one month. NBC News reported that the usually Republican-leaning group favoured Trump by 8 points in its 2016 exit polls.

Even in the key battleground state of Florida, where Trump beat Hillary Clinton by 17 points among voters over 65 in 2016, polling has indicated that Trump and Biden are neck-and-neck. An AARP Florida poll published in September found 49% support for Biden among likely voters over 65 and 48% support for Trump.

A New York Times/Siena College poll of likely voters in Pennsylvania conducted in late September and early October found Biden leading Trump by 11 points among those over 65 and by 7 points overall. A WDIV/Detroit News poll of likely voters in Michigan conducted around the same time and cited by NBC News found Biden leading by 8.8 points overall, driven by a 22-point swing since early September among those over 65.

The shift comes amid growing disapproval of Trump’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic, which has killed over 215,000 people in the United States, according to data from John Hopkins University, and has disproportionately killed older Americans.

A Reuters/Ipsos poll of American adults conducted after Trump’s discharge from the hospital for COVID-19 treatment last week found a record low approval of the president’s handling of the pandemic: 59% said they disapproved, while 37% said they approved. Reuters said the net approval rating was the lowest since the poll began in March.

Trump said recently that he's a perfect physical specimen and that he's very young.

At Trump's rally in Orlando, an elderly supporter said he's not afraid of COVID-19 because he takes vitamins.

Another said he wants Trump in 2020 so Biden doesn't get reelected.

The way Trump has been obsessed with Obama, he wants to be elected so that Obama doesn't get reelected in 2020.

Trump calls for attorney general Barr to indict Biden.

Donald Trump calls for AG Barr to indict Joe Biden with 26 days until election

    excerpt:

"On Thursday, Trump told Fox Business' Maria Bartiromo that Biden and Obama "spited' his campaign and urged Attorney General Bill Barr to indict them because "we got plenty, you don't need any more." Without an indictment, Trump said, "we'll get little satisfaction," and he "won't forget it."

Newsweek reached out to the Biden campaign for comment but did not receive a response in time for publication.

This isn't the first time Trump's called for Barr to indict Biden over the "Russia hoax," as he refers to it. In August, he told Bartiromo that Barr had a chance to be the "greatest of all time" and that he has all of the answers showing that it goes "right to" Obama and Biden. But, if he chooses to be politically correct, he'll end up being "just another guy.""

Republicans in general don't know how to be on top. Even before Trump I have noticed when they run for reelection they act like they have not been the one making policy. Obama will be running his shadow goverment 10 years after his death. It's the only way to explain why these smart conservative ideas never work.

Her forgetting the right to protest is very intentional. Slowly the idea that it's wrong to criticize the goverment is becoming American policy. Right wing people attempting to kidnap a governer is FOR the country. You love it so much you have to do it. Protesting the good and moral law enforcement means you HATE the county.

If no one is above the law the kidnappers should face serious charges. Last I saw they were heros to Fox news.

There was a time when the general public of the U.S. embraced democracy and laughed at dictators of other countries who danced to silly music on the balcony to the raving crowd below and defiantly banged a huge saber on the podium.

Now the leaders of those countries are the ones whom Trump and his following embrace with Trump as the king of all of them.

That leaves Trump in the position of compensating for the lost white votes with extra Black Voices For Trump votes conjured up by a seance to the late Herman Cain.

Republican Sen. Sasse unloads on Trump.

Sen. Sasse Slams Trump In Constituent Call: He's 'Flirted With White Supremacists'

Sen. Sasse Slams Trump In Constituent Call: He's 'Flirted With White Supremacists'

    excerpt:

"Sasse said Trump not only "fails to lead our allies" but that the United States "now regularly sells out our allies under [Trump's] leadership."

He listed in rapid-fire succession: "The way he treats women and spends like a drunken sailor, the ways that I criticized President Obama for that kind of spending, I've criticized President Trump for as well. He mocks Evangelicals behind closed doors. His family has treated the presidency like a business opportunity. He's flirted with white supremacists."

Sasse then shifted to what he characterized as Trump's failure in leadership with the coronavirus pandemic, which has claimed the lives of more than 215,000 Americans, saying Trump treated it like a "PR crisis rather than a multi-year public health challenge."

"I don't think the way he's led through COVID has been reasonable or responsible or right," he said."

The White House still hasn't stated when Trump's last negative coronavirus test occurred before he first tested positive.

It's irresponsible to not disclose such information that is needed to help others who may have been contaminated by him.

Trump lying through his ass once again during his town meeting

    Trump: Greatest economy ever

Truth: Economic Growth under Ronald Reagan averaged 4.2% per year, Under Trump 2.48%, just slightly ahead of Obama-Biden 2.41%

    Trump; Most jobs ever created:

Truth: Obama-Biden created more jobs during their first 3 years in office, than Trump during his first three years

Trump: thousands of ballots were dropped into the garbage with my name on them

Truth: It’s an outright lie, a conspiracy theory he heard and simply wants to believe

Trump: 85% of people wearing masks catch the coronavirus

Truth: 85% of a small group of coronavirus patients reported they had regularly wore a mask around the time they caught the virus.

Trump: We extend our best wishes to the Harris campaign after a campaign worker tested positive for the coronavirus, which is more than they did for me

Truth: It’s a lie, both Biden and Harris wished the first family a speedy recovery and their thoughts and prayers are with them.

Trump did admit he’s 421 million dollars in debt but it’s a small sum of his supposed vast fortune,

Truth: The NY Times who had access to his tax records reported it will likely bankrupt him
