A Trump administration press release claimed that “Ending The Covid-19 Pandemic” was one of the president’s first term scientific achievements, even though COVID infections are skyrocketing. Some of Trump’s comments have been as mindless and heartless as Hoover’s; for example, when Trump said that the nation’s COVID death rate was at a low level, “if you take the blue states out.”"

 

That was a sick-minded remark by Trump during a deadly pandemic.

 

His base thought it would be a great idea...

 

The U.S. would never win a military war with Trump. When faced with a crisis, he divides the U.S. and does all the work that the foreign enemies would have been required to do.

He is someone who joins the foreign enemy if there was anything in it for him, even for frivolous reasons such as winning a culture war in his mind that involves sticking it to the long and increasing list of people and groups in the U.S. that he doesn't like.

He has already done it with the coronavirus threat that has killed nearly a quarter-million Americans and by siding with groups who have plotted crimes against the governors.

 

Seeing shades of humanity at a Trump rally is abnormal.

I heard trump ruminating about what he would do if he loses the election.

 

This has been a tragic flaw of people throughout history: knowing that a behavior of their group is wrong but conforming to the group and supporting it anyway. The notable Milgram experiment elucidated it.

It has led to some of the worst calamities people have ever experienced.

Every so often, someone comes along and lights the flame again.

 

I get the feeling that Dax is ten years old, just like VG.

Trump started a hotline that people could call when they think someone is violating his executive order that essentially bans diversity training by using a vague definition of what is banned.

Groups are suspending their diversity training out of fear of having their funding suspended or canceled for not being compliant to whatever it is that Trump has vaguely defined as a violation.

Trump in a nutshell.

 

Trump's executive order bans companies and organizations from conducting training that he calls "offensive and anti-American race and sex stereotyping and skapegoating".

That definition by Trump sounds like the behavior of Trump and what diversity training has been trying to mitigate.
