Fuck the emmy awards and mccain. Respect the flag. That has to come first before sports. The left thinks everyone who is a trump support is a racist! If you can't stand for the for the flag, during their anthem, on their soil, then get out. Pretty simple. Trump is a puppet, trump is a joke, trump supporters are idiots blah blah blah stfu. "I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
Every individual in your country decides for themselves what they respect and what they think should come before sports or what they stand up for or not (except in court i guess ). Pretty simple.
Blah blah blah blind allegience blah blah The NFL didnt even stand before 2009. The government paid them to stand starting in 2009 to appear more patriotic. So basically, they stand because of propaganda, or rather their standing is a form of propaganda. How patriotic! Trump should shut up and do his job, the NFL doesn't concern him
The Star Spangled Banner wasn't made the national anthem until 1931. However there is no legal penalty for failure to obey 36 U.S.C. § 301 and it's subject to the First Amendment same as The Pledge of Allegiance. In other words, it may be disregarded as an ethical decision with no legal ramifications. The Pledge of Allegiance wasn't adopted until 1942, the words "under God" were added in 1954. There is no legal requirement to recite or stand for the pledge. Those who yell the most about not standing, disrespecting the flag etc. are usually those who also mouth off about their constitutional right to own guns. They support the Constitution when it supports what they want, but ignore it when it doesn't. Football players who choose to kneel are within their rights to peacefully demonstrate. End of story. Trump's involvement is just another attempt to rile up his base and further divide the nation.
This. Right here. I hope everyone stops and reads this. Disrespecting a piece of cloth is wrong. Disrespecting a terminally ill veteran who survived a POW camp is acceptable. This is why no decent person backs Trump or his supporters.
The national anthem is ok. Every country has one. I think the pledge of allegiance should be banned though. Since is indoctrinates state supremacy and jingoism.
Then go to canada if you don't want our allegiance. Go anywhere. He is doing his job. He is giving a strong reminder what a dollar does when you vote for it in your transaction. So turn off your fucking tv when you have Left bullshit trying to say no values. He is telling the American people dont forgot who gave their lives for your freedom. All races are included. You disrespect them then go to another country and respect others. This is a huge high five to vets. No allegiance to your flag anymore? Your fired. YOUR FIRED.
I love how Trump seems to have given lunatics the license to spout their nonsense when a normal president in office would have kept them respectably quiet.
The David Letterman quote about Trump that keeps on circulating social media “Here’s what I keep saying: We know there’s something wrong, but what I’m tired of is people ― daily, nightly, on all the cable news shows ― telling us there’s something wrong. I just think we ought to direct our resources and our energies to doing something about it. And other people have made this point: If the guy was running Dairy Queen, he’d be gone. This guy couldn’t work at The Gap. So why do we have to be victimized by his fecklessness, his ignorance?...let’s just stop whining about what a goon he is and figure out a way to take him aside and put him in a home.“
Microaggression left social media. what the fuck is a normal president? or a normal person for that matter? being quiet is the problem. are you deaf?
Why should americans leave their country because they disagree with you about the pledge of allegiance? Or your president? Just because you would leave in such a situation doesn't mean its what others should do It doesn't mean they disrespect everything else America stands for or values (often on the contrary). You seem to act like its like that.
North Korea believes we are at war, threatens to shoot down U.S. planes. After Trump Tweeted that North Korea "won't be around much longer", their foreign minister, Ri Yong Ho replied: "Last weekend Trump claimed that our leadership wouldn't be around much longer and declared a war on our country," "Since the United States declared war on our country, we will have every right to make all self-defensive counter measures, including the right to shoot down the United States strategic bombers at any time even when they are not yet inside the aerospace border of our country,"
If he was black 99% of his shenanigans would not be tolerated and there would have already been a huge Republican movement to impeach him. We already saw that with Obama who was not perfect but had the respect of the American people and people living in other countries. Obama respected the laws as written and used them how he could. With him they always used words like "king" and "dictator" which are SO much more appropriate now when we have a man who would really rather not deal with anyone or anything but what he says. How his party can not see what is I do not know. Guess it's OK when the king is white and precived to be upsetting those who would dare vote for a "socialist from Kenya". This country is so angry that Obama existed it's lost it's brain. You might say king is stretch nope in a poll over 50% of his supporters now support having no elections. They have what they want and have no interest in the risk of change.
