That is what he believes or quoted....I don't know why people exacerbate things, though.....in ganging up on people. i am not taking sides.....as I think anyone can talk for themselves here, if need be. We are not infants here that need a side to be taken. that always exacerbates everything, so i had to come in and say what I knew about the quote. I used to believe it.....so what? Sometimes, i don't stand for anything myself....so what? and as a side note, I have no idea what happened with the football game or with the anthem....I am not interested in football games or anthems enough to look into it. and am probably the only person here that has no clue again....lol....I always felt put upon having to stand up and sing the anthem like a robot......so i would just stand there.
LMAO!!! I'm surprised he left out the 'N' word. Maybe he wrote that and then erased it before posting. This is so typical among certain members of the right. He lumps all the left into a category of being racist and of having some kind of mental disorder. But he himself demonstrates, through his derogatory labels of, "faggots and cunts," that he is xenophobic and intolerant (anti-LGBT and sexist), and this goes hand in hand with racism, so we can assume that he is also racist. Actually, we don't need to assume, because it is more or less stated right here: The issue with the flag is big enough that at least a part of him knows that it is not about the flag, but about the police violence directed towards African-Americans (and which news reports of yet another shooting or beating remind us all the time, is a serious issue). So here he is, calling all the liberals, most of whom support freedom of speech, including that of football players demonstrating against systemic racism, racist. Now by my pointing out that it is not the liberals but he himself who is demonstrating racism, it is almost guaranteed that he will become very defensive and angrily deny that he is a racist, online he may simply resort to name calling or insults. Why would he do this? Because this is very typical shadow repression and shadow projection. He knows racism is wrong so his ego has repressed it into his subconscious, therefore he does not see his own racism. His ego will do everything it can to prevent his conscious mind from seeing the racism within himself. But then something happens that brings it to the surface---such as a black man kneeling on the football field during the National Anthem, protesting violence against his people. Immediately his ego masks the real problem--that he is upset that this black man is stepping out of his place, and so he is thus able to make a big deal about him disrespecting the flag. But the problem is that he is still racist. Repressing personality issues into the subconscious shadow does not remove them, it just hides them so that they cannot be properly addressed. A part of him still knows that the racism is there. This is where the ego uses another device to mask it---projection. Therefore he projects it onto liberals. What else is he projecting? Well shadow repression is not, of itself, a mental disorder---we all do it, as it is a natural part of our psyche. But as a culture we define any mental process that is deemed unethical, antisocial, or is an undesired behavior based on current social mores as a disorder. We see this exact dynamic play out all the time with Republicans. Democrats do it too, as we all have shadows, but Republicans tend to be more repressed, and demonstrate it more bluntly. You see it whenever they talk about 'doing something' even as they are working to shut the government down, or whenever they organize a panel to discuss women's reproductive rights, for the benefit of women, but do not include any women in the panel, inevitably leading to sexist results. You see it in presidential candidates and congressmen who stand for Christian family values, but are themselves on their 3rd wife, who was previously a mistress. You see it when they claim that the democrats are not for the veterans, yet they are the ones that slash funding for the programs that help the veterans. Or when they insist that the democrats are for a bigger government, while they push for militarizing the police, and stand for stronger police and military and trample on civil rights. You saw it as they loudly referred to democrats and liberals as racist over any little example they could twist into their point, while they fought tooth and nail against every single policy, agenda, plan, or idea that Obama tried to implement. It is often displayed in the Trump Administration, and Trump demonstrates this regularly----just watch his twitter feed. And in regards to the racism----this is the problem in our country today. Racism was much easier to deal with when it was out in the open. It was obvious who had a problem when a Black church in Mississippi was set on fire, because everyone knew where they stood on the issue. But after years of violence, the Civil Rights Movement, the Martin Luther King assassination, and Archie Bunker demonstrating how ludicrous it was on National TV, racism became wrong and people repressed it. But repressed as it is, it is hidden and not dealt with. Many people---liberals and conservatives alike---have racist ideas and concepts lingering insidiously within their subconscious shadow and don't even know it. Things like the Obama Presidency, Ferguson, and the Trump Presidency are forcing it to the surface again. The Trump Presidency in particular---because things like Obama, Ferguson, or police violence against blacks, can be seen as a threat to the ego of unmasking this shadow element, and simply perpetuates the repression. But the Trump Presidency gives voice to racism, and all the related immoral elements such as xenophobia, intolerance, sexism, and so forth. It allows it to stand again misconstrued as socially acceptable. Perhaps then we can face it and deal with it in a more healthy manner. Thank you ArtOfJaCOb for the example, and I apologize if this offends you in anyway, or for the anger that inevitably appears when someone touches a shadow element of another.
It's all about authority , including such fantastical social nonsense as 'leader of the free world' . Please set free the U.S. presidency from that . How ? It's probably easy .
Latest attempt to repeal ACA fails. As a distraction, expect more whining tweets by Trump about the NFL, NBA, baseball, ratings of reality TV shows, etc. https://www.washingtonpost.com/powerpost/senate-gop-effort-to-unwind-the-affordable-care-act-faces-critical-test-tuesday/2017/09/26/097b2dc2-a25f-11e7-b14f-f41773cd5a14_story.html
I should have looked into it more. I don't care if a football player wants to kneel and anthem or whatever....... I am for freedom....freedom to be oneself...as long as it is not imposing or interfering with someone's else rights and freedoms. There also seems many different conversations going on here.....different people focusing on different aspects. yeah, and I am prejudiced against Republicans.....I admit it.
sometimes. sometimes, not so much....I am intolerant of stupidities that put other people and the planet as a whole in a shit hole, i guess, sums it best.
They voted for the asshole. and they still rally for him. The environment was always my biggest concern......and the things he has done are INNANE....and yes, that makes me angry.
remembering the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico where Black Athletes gave the clenched fist salute during the playing of The Anthem. i was young back then. Todays kneeling symbolism seems bland in comparison. Mr President should keep a lid on it and work to help huricaine victims in Puerto Rico.
Well it looks like the Dallas Cowboys are no longer America's team LOL I say we give that title to the Redskins! In a twist of irony, as it is a name that melts so many of these kneeling snowflakes.

At this point it is political theater. Congress hasn't allocated funding for the wall. The DHS is giving a few million dollars for prototype demos and has taken the money from its other programs. http://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2017/09/26/553786714/contractors-begin-building-prototypes-for-trump-s-border-wall
All of the talk about Congress funding the wall and the DHS reallocating money for demos shouldn't even be happening. Trump said Mexico was going to pay for it.
I think 6-eyed is aware of that. He just likes to make it seem Trump is actually doing what he promised. But yeah.. he promised Mexico is gonna finance it
