People can have as much faith in Michele Bachmann that Trump is a man of Jesus as they can about her being right about the date of the birthday of Elvis.
During her run for President, people were waiting for Michele Bachmann to do a campaign stop in Bethlehem, PA and say that she was in the town of the birthplace of Jesus.
Here's the stats on my ObamaCare insurance contract : $8000 deductible/yr . ( I payout this amount in a year before policy pays anything ) Total premium : $810.42/mth Govt pays Insurer that amount . I pay $0 My income for this yr : $21,000 When the contract is cancelled for lack of govt payment , how much of my income should I offer so that this catastrophic coverage may continue ? For fun , consider the cost of this policy a Trumpishly negotiable deal .
Jesus. Over $800 a month and you cant use it until you hit that deductible Insurance is the biggest fucking scam How does that work, does the government subsidize the premium only or the deductible as well?
Should I have a serious medical billing , I will personally pay $8000 before the insurer pays anything . Probably , yes , this policy is a fascist scam . I hope you may logically unravel it . The govt pays about 10,000 a year to the insurance company for this policy .
Trump ramps up the culture war By Jonathan Easley - 10/15/17 06:00 AM EDT http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/355399-trump-ramps-up-the-culture-war From the article: "President Trump is expanding the culture wars, launching new attacks against institutions that he views as liberal, elitist or both. With his agenda stalled in Congress and his poll numbers sagging, Trump has kept his base engaged and the left inflamed by escalating feuds with key figures in sports, entertainment, tech and media, effectively dragging politics into every corner of public life. Trump’s aim is straightforward: To convince voters that there is a privileged class that scoffs at their patriotism and cares more about political correctness and diversity than ordinary Americans, their traditions and their economic plight. The president’s allies say he’s guided in this fight by the same instincts that got him elected. Trump’s relentless attacks, they say, cut to the heart of Trump’s appeal."
I wonder if Trump's search for God and answers will give him a conscience about eco systems and the health of the planet. I doubt it. You either have one or you don't.
He's far more concerned about what his voting base thinks. If he has a conscience (I think everyone does) he won't listen to it. Too risky because the corporate superpowers won't like him anymore if he starts being a greener president. Is there any chance of him getting re-elected in 2020 anyway? Hope not, but you never know. :wall:
As my mom always said..."If they had a conscience, it would bother them." Has a conscience ever bothered Trump? Site me an example, if so.
Yes, a very good chance if he doesn't get impeached or go insane first. I believe all he needs to do is hold his base and win two or three states to get the electoral college. The will of the people doesn't really matter.
Trump forgets to sign executive order again. Cut him some slack. He's new to all of this. President Pence yanked him back for the signing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_tOVxoLWY4
After being annoyed by a question about Flynn, Trump leaves room and forgets to sign executive orders. Pence remembers, grabs the papers, and leaves the room. Trump didn't sign the papers in public. http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/326796-trump-appears-to-forget-to-sign-executive-orders
Today on the news he said that he's getting "high marks" for disaster response. I'm not abundantly clear on how he figures there are any marks coming in! They haven't accomplished much yet in Puerto Rico. From what I understand the response is beside the point in that they don't have electricity on the majority of the island. I'm not making this up. That's what I recall. Something like 80% of the island is without power. My mom was saying if they don't restore power they can't build and do all this other stuff. That's another thing. The roads are all messed up such that they can't get from one place to another to deliver supplies, medicines, materials, or what have you. With all that being the case I'm not seeing where it's time for "high marks" on disaster response. Perhaps they've made more headway in Texas and Florida.
In Trump's mind, Puerto Rico is out in the middle of an ocean. A really, really big ocean. If it was closer to the U.S. than Afghanistan the disaster response would have been much more effective.
I would imagine so, as Trump needs Texas and Florida to remain in his camp for next time....self interest. That is why i gave Eminem high marks, even though I am not one for vulgarities or rap music really...Trump supported him......and how many people would alienate the president of the US , after being supported by him? Not only that, Eminem risked losing some of his fans.Takes real guts to stand for something that you believe in....even though it means alientating people, especially the President.
