After all the crap she's spouted and all the bullshit we've had to put up from the Tea Party, there's no fucking way she gets treated like a lady by anybody but a fool.

Former Trump spokeswoman Sarah Sanders running for Arkansas governor

    excerpt:

"The daughter of former Gov. Mike Huckabee, Sanders is the first Trump official to seek major office and is doing so less than a week after the tumultuous end of his presidency. Her candidacy could showcase just how much of a hold Trump still has on the GOP.

“Trump is simply not a liability here,” said Janine Parry, a political scientist at the University of Arkansas. “At least for the time being, we’re in a state where he remains an asset.”

That’s even as the Senate is preparing for an impeachment trial over the Jan. 6 insurrection by Trump supporters that was aimed at halting the certification of President Joe Biden’s victory over Trump."

People in Marietta Oklahoma woke up to KKK fliers at their front doors. The Klan activity which is always seen as a form of ethnic intimidation was reported to the local police. The chief of police immediately told the news that because the fliers contained the word "Church" they would be considered protected speech under the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. People here on HF need to remember that Trump just a short time ago made it legal for churches to engage in political speech. Many churches wanted the privilege when related to the abortion issue. Now, that Trumpian ploy has become a spring-board for racism and ethnic intimidation.

Burleson Man Who Wore ‘Murder the Media' Shirt During Capitol Riot Arrested, FBI Says

    excerpt:

"A Burleson man who allegedly appeared in a photo smoking a cigarette during the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol and was wearing a shirt that said 'Murder the Media" was arrested by the FBI Tuesday.

Nicholas DeCarlo, 30, faces charges of obstructing an official proceeding, entering a restricted building, and parading or demonstrating on Capitol grounds.

According to a criminal complaint obtained Tuesday by NBC 5 (read below), both DeCarlo and Ochs appeared in multiple photos allegedly showing them smoking inside the halls of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6. One of the captions posted on social media read, "Hello from the Capital LOL," the FBI said."

Good point. I don't remember if it was an executive order but it was most definitely a Trump/Pence agenda. Freedom of Religion according to Mike Pence has always meant people from other religious groups must comply with his warped version of Christianity. As for Trump himself, I doubt he could think this through to any meaningful depth.

Trump impeachment: Why convicting him just got a lot harder

    excerpt:

"Tuesday's vote shows there are definitely only five who even want to consider the evidence - Mitt Romney, Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins, Ben Sasse and Pat Toomey.

The rest contend that presidents can't face impeachment trials once they've left office.

"My vote today to dismiss the article of impeachment is based on the fact that impeachment was designed to remove an officeholder from public office," Senator Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia said in a statement released after the vote. "The Constitution does not give Congress the power to impeach a private citizen."

Democrats will surely find that a very convenient way of not having to pass judgement on the president's behaviour.

They'll also point out that while there is no historical precedent for such proceedings on the presidential level, a cabinet secretary in the 19th Century faced a Senate impeachment trial on corruption charges even after he resigned from office."

Such bullshit with this GOP. What they need is a re-enactment of Jan 6 to refresh their memory! I think what it ultimately boils down to is that they are trying to keep from further embarrassment as a political party (because THEY are ultimately responsible for ALL this shit) - this makes them look bad on all levels if they vote for impeachment of the monster they created. Unbelievable...
