9/11-style commission should investigate Capitol attack: Sen. Coons, Rep. Dean

    excerpt:

"Former President Donald Trump's actions fit the definition of insurrection, Louisiana GOP Sen. Bill Cassidy, who crossed party lines by voting to convict Trump, told ABC News Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos Sunday on "This Week."

"I listened very carefully to all the arguments. But if you describe insurrection as I did, as an attempt to prevent the peaceful transfer of power, we can see the president for two months after the election, promoting that the election was stolen," Cassidy said.

"It was clear that he wished that lawmakers be intimidated. And even after he knew there was violence taking place, he continued to basically sanction the mob being there, and not until later that he actually asked him to leave all of that points to a motive, and a method. And that is wrong, he should be held accountable," he added."

Mitch McConnell voted not guilty while saying that Trump was guilty of everything.

9/11-style commission should investigate Capitol attack: Sen. Coons, Rep. Dean

    excerpts:

“Think about it,” Dean said to Stephanopoulos. “For the first time in however many years, we had an insurrection incited by the president of the United States. ... The House was desecrated, the Capitol was desecrated. People were terrorized. This was incited by the president of the United States. Of course, there must be a full commission and impartial commission, not guided by politics, but filled with people who would stand up to the courage of their conviction, like Dr. Cassidy.”

“I give credit to the seven Republicans who stood with us, who followed the facts, who looked at the law and looked at the evidence and found this president guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors,” she told Stephanopoulos. “It was powerful to hear the 57 guiltys. And then it was puzzling to hear and see Mitch McConnell stand and say ‘not guilty,’ and then minutes later stand again and say he was guilty of everything. History will remember that statement of speaking out of two sides of his mouth.”

There doesn't seem to be too many instances of a U.S. president inciting an insurrection against the U.S. government and doing nothing to stop it while it was in progress.

    Trump has that market cornered.

So Trump is facing charges of tax evasion, sexual assault, several separate charges of fraud, and a New York criminal investigation of the Trump Organization. Plus possible criminal charges for inciting the Capitol riot! I'm sure I've missed one or two others. So he'll be in the news for some time to come, and there are many possible outcomes. We're in for some surprises.

Trump will face massive 'financial damage' when he is buried in lawsuits and indictments: MSNBC legal analyst

    excerpt:

"Appearing on MSNBC's "The Sunday Show," former Watergate prosecutor and MSNBC legal analyst Jill Wine-Banks claimed Donald Trump's impeachment trial travails may be gone but he is looking at much worse in the courts now that he is no longer in office and protected by the presidency.

As the former prosecutor pointed out, Trump and his family are about to take a big hit to their pocketbooks and their company's financial stability.

After discussing the Senate impeachment vote where Republicans disregarded evidence of sedition and refused to convict the ex-president, Wine-Banks said the future looks much grimmer outside of politics.

"I also want to point out that there's also a lot of civil liability that faces Donald Trump and given how much he loves money and that that may be just as important as anything else," she told host Jonathan Capehart. "He may have to actually pay his back taxes. He may have to give up some of his properties. He may no longer be able to get any financing anywhere.""

So if trump is found guilty in a criminal, or civil case, will his supporters storm the courthouse?

If there is a criminal trial for inciting the Capitol riot it will be easy to prosecute. The evidence was already presented by the Democrats! Just present it again! And this time we will call witnesses!

A casual observer might look at such a photo and think that they are Trump rioters who permanently took over the Capitol.

The face coverings give it away. Trump's insurgents don't wear face masks.

If anyone was wondering where Sidney 'Release the Kraken’ Powell was over the past month she’s been on the lam

Dominion Says Powell Was Dodging Being Served $1.3B Suit

Dominion Voting Systems Corp. told a D.C. federal judge that pro-Trump attorney Sidney Powell "for weeks" evaded a court summons for its lawsuit demanding $1.3 billion in compensatory and punitive damages...

Dominion incurred unnecessary expenses for the extraordinary measures needed to serve Ms Powell, including hiring private investigators and pursuing her across state lines.

It's already been proven that the violence was under Nancy Pelosis job discription and the police knew about it days before and were told to stand down. The same way the guys in Binghazi

All you have to do is watch something else other then CNN. They are the reasons he didn't get impeached. It was on live TV too.

By the way, you don't have an ounce of proof with the gibberish you posted. At least the rest of the world saw this happening. Enjoy CNN
