A lawsuit filed by Devine Nunes against Fusion GPS has been thown out by a federal judge,

Fusion GPS produced the Steele dossier which was at the center of the controversy concerning Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Trump loses twice. His wholehearted supporter Nunes lost and the loss was issued by a federal judge Trump appointed.

Judge dismisses Nunes' lawsuit against Fusion GPS

    excerpt:

"A federal judge dismissed a lawsuit Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, filed in 2019 against Fusion GPS, the firm at the heart of the controversy surrounding Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Judge Liam O'Grady of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia wrote in a two-page ruling that Nunes’s complaint was too vague to move forward with a civil case and that the Virginia court was not the appropriate setting for the suit."

This is the same crap that Donald Duck has been doing to everyone he has come in contact with for decades. Seriously, you don't want to get within a hundred feet of the fucking man if you can help it, because he is above the fucking law. The longer he keeps this up, the more obvious it will become to everyone that they couldn't sell their votes if they tried.

    Trump's response:

"For years the Radical Left Democrats have played dirty by boycotting products when anything from that company is done or stated in any way that offends them. Now they are going big time with WOKE CANCEL CULTURE and our sacred elections."

"It is finally time for Republicans and Conservatives to fight back—we have more people than they do—by far! Boycott Major League Baseball, Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines, JPMorgan Chase, ViacomCBS, Citigroup, Cisco, UPS, and Merck. Don’t go back to their products until they relent."

"They rigged and stole our 2020 Presidential Election, which we won by a landslide, and then, on top of that, boycott and scare companies into submission. Never submit, never give up! The Radical Left will destroy our Country if we let them. We will not become a Socialist Nation. Happy Easter!"

    Trump protester arrested.

Trump's supporters didn't seem to know what to do next once they were inside the Capitol, other than taking selfies and posting them online.

Ex-Salt Lake cop arrested, accused of participating in U.S. Capitol insurrection

    excerpt:

"A former Salt Lake police officer faces federal criminal charges for allegedly entering the U.S. Capitol during the Jan. 6 insurrection, the second Utahn to be arrested for participating in the deadly riot.

Michael Lee Hardin, 50, of Kaysville, was taken into custody without incident Friday, according to the FBI. He was booked into the Davis County Jail.

Hardin was arrested on federal charges of knowingly entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds without lawful authority; disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds; disorderly conduct in a Capitol building, and parading, demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol building, according to the FBI.

Hardin appeared in U.S. District Court in Salt Lake City on Friday via videoconference in custody and wearing handcuffs. Federal prosecutors didn’t seek to detain him pending trial but sought certain conditions for his release."

Trump's supporters were calling for a boycott of the 'rigged' Georgia runoff election, the one the Republicans lost the day before Trump's Capitol riot that gave control of the Senate back to Democrats.

Trump contributed to the boycott mentality with his relentless, baseless accusations that the 2020 election was rigged, including fantasies such as Stacey Abrams illegally harvesting ballots in Georgia for the runoff election. She simply outdid Trump's team in registering people to vote.

Trump is still ranting about the 2020 election being rigged and calling for boycotts of companies that objected to Georgia's new voting restrictions which are a maligned response to the election boycott mentality of Trump and his supporters.

The Georgia GOP thinks that restrictions to voting are going to cure the boycott mentality by boosting voter confidence, a questionable approach. When Republicans lose more elections in Georgia due to changing demographics that the GOP can't bring themselves to acknowledge, GOP voters will once again claim the elections were stolen from them and continue with their boycott mindset.

"Insanity": GOP Georgia official slams pro-Trump calls for Senate runoff election boycott

    excerpt:

"Gabriel Sterling, Georgia's voting system implementation manager, blasted a press conference from pro-Trump lawyers and conspiracy theorists Sidney Powell and Lin Wood during a CNN appearance on Wednesday. The lawyers urged Trump supporters to not vote in the "rigged" January 5 runoffs, with Wood specifically calling out Sterling and demanding that he is "not going to sell out our votes to China."

"Crazy. It's insanity," Sterling said in reaction to Wood's remarks. "It's just so baseless from any sense of reality. It's detached from reality. And yes, I'm a Republican, I'm going to stay a Republican. I'm going to fight for the sanctity and sanity of a party that has been a big part of America and that I've been fighting for since I was 15 years old.""

Let's all do the opposite. Fly on Delta while drinking a Coke, watching baseball on CBS and having UPS deliver a package to your destination when you arrive. Let their profits go thru the roof! No socialism there!

Difficult for Trump to top that Easter message, other than saying that he sacrificed his life for the sins of God.

I used to think that his supporters would eventually realize that Trump's message and platform was entirely negative. He wanted to take down immigration, gays, international treaties, governmental regulations, etc etc.

    No building, just destroying.

Problem is, his supporters think the same way he does. What he's been saying is exactly what they want.

So, his wishing a sarcastic happy Easter to the left is exactly what appeals to them.

    Ugh.

Aftermath of the 2021 storming of the United States Capitol - Wikipedia

    excerpt:

"Though the number of people arrested is large enough to defy generalization, at least 17% were tied to extremist or fringe movements,[23] including the Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, Three Percenters, and Patriot Front,[24] as well as the Texas Freedom Force.[25] The majority were not affiliated with a specific far-right group and had been more informally radicalized by right-wing Internet, social media, or television.[24][26] At least 15% had ties to the military or law enforcement.[23]

About 40% were business owners or white-collar workers; only about 9% were apparently unemployed.[24] A Washington Post review of public records showed that of defendants with enough information to identify financial histories, almost 60% had experienced financial problems over the preceding 20 years.[24] Some 18% had a past bankruptcy (nearly double the rate of the general public), 20% had prior eviction and foreclosure proceedings, 25% had been sued by a creditor for not paying money owed; and others had bad debt, delinquent taxes, or tax liens.[24] Many clearly expressed a belief in the QAnon conspiracy theory.[27]

While the majority of those charged were men, 25 women were also charged.[25] Among those whose age was known, the average age was 41 years; the youngest charged was 18, and the oldest was 70.[25] Those who were arrested came from 42 states, with the largest numbers coming from Texas, New York, Florida, and Pennsylvania.[25] At least 27 had previous criminal records;[26] with at least nine having been previously accused of, or convicted of, committing violence against women (including one who had served five years in prison for rape and sexual battery) or had been the subject of domestic violence restraining orders.[28]"

The very people who dislike government don't understand what the government does to benefit them. Don't like the government? Don't accept social security, drive on roads, etc. Just stay at home.

First at a wedding speech he says the election was stolen. Now as part of an Easter message he says again the election was stolen. I accept that he's never going to admit he lost fairly, but will he ever stop mentioning it every time he speaks? If you meet him does he shake your hand and say, "Hi, nice to meet you, I'm Donald Trump and the election was stolen from me!"?

I guess when you tell a lie this big you must never admit it or the consequences will be too harsh! Plus his wacko supporters would turn on him and he'd need extra security! It appears he intends to spend the rest of his days trying to undermine every effort to reverse the damage he's inflicted on this country!

Like most of the GOP, with the exception of Jim Jordan, Trump has been quiet about the allegations against Gaetz after the two had promoted each other so heavily.

Gaetz sex probe suddenly threatens a speedy Washington rise

    excerpt:

"Yet barely four years after arriving in Washington as a little-known Republican state legislator from Florida’s Panhandle, the 38-year-old unblushing defender of Donald Trump is facing a possible abrupt end to his once promising career because of a federal sex-trafficking investigation.

The overwhelming reaction of Gaetz's GOP colleagues — a deafening silence. That reflects the resentments he's sparked during his breakneck rise as one of the party's celebrities and the challenge he faces to retain his seat.

Government agents are investigating if Gaetz had sex with a 17-year-old and other underage girls and violated federal sex trafficking laws, people familiar with the probe have told the AP. No charges have been filed, and Gaetz has denied the allegations."
