Jack Wade Whitton Jr. biography: 13 things about US Capitol riot suspect from Locust Grove, Georgia excerpt: "6. He is one of the sponsored athletes of Hurt Locker Apparel."
Whitton posted an image of his bloody hand and blamed it on a bad cop (the one he dragged down the steps who he and others beat). Whitton's accomplice beat an officer with the pole of an American flag.
Hard to believe the local magistrate wanted to release him on bond, We've seen this in case after case forcing the local prosecutor to appeal the release to a higher court.
Trump spotted with Coke on his desk after calling for boycott of it. Trump spotted with apparent Coke bottle on desk despite calling for boycott of the drink
Up next: Trump proudly shows a photo of his office where he's holding his Apple iPhone and drinking Coke while watching baseball on ViacomCBS using a Cisco cable box with a UPS package on his desk along with a bottle of cholesterol lowering prescription drug provided by Merck. Trump's alibi: I was just trying to remind the public of all the companies I told them to boycott.
Donald Trump, who has spent his entire life trying to put the "Trump" name on everything he possibly could (even COVID-19 stimulus checks!) , is going to remarkable lengths to remove "Trump" as part of his new self branding moves. NBC News and others, have done some great pieces interviewing different branding experts as to what Trump seems to be up to. But behind it all, there seems to be a remarkable level of self awareness as to just how incredibly negative the word "Trump" has become among the majority of the population. The decision to rebrand himself as "45" as in the 45th President (with no mention of "Trump", seems to have been very carefully chosen. His new website is 45office.com, his old tweets are now under @WhiteHouse45, and his political PAC is now called SaveAmerica45.com. Why "45"? Well they point out a number of things. First off, the image of a former President (WITHOUT the name "Trump" attached) is more likely to bring to mind the image of a former President, with all the prestige and respect that usually accompanies that position. But as soon as you add "Trump" into the mix, the reaction of the majority is so bad (and has been incredibly damaging financially to his businesses and those companies who've licensed the use of the "Trump" name) that the negative associations overwhelm the positive "ex-President" connotations. If you look at his 45Office.com website, you'll immediately notice that it really pushes the image and prestige factor of a former President. The first photos that you see are carefully chosen to push the "prestige of the office" and being a "President" confers. I.E. Push the position and not "Trump" as being "Trump". It also helps to separate the negative impact on his "Trump" businesses from any ongoing political actions (one is Trump the businessman, and the other is "45" the political player). "45" is also a nice sounding nickname while avoiding the use of "Trump". It also avoids using the phrase "Former President", and most people won't notice the normal negative associations with being a rare one-term loser President. So instead of all the immediate connotations the word "Trump" brings (for the things that he did and said), it pushes this nice prestigious generic image of someone with all the prestige that the position and office brings. Personally, the part that I find remarkable, is that Trump himself must understand the need to rebrand himself, avoiding the use of "Trump". Again, this is someone who's spent his entire life pushing the Trump brand, and now is pushing the "45" rebranding instead.
Pure bullshit. Donald Duck would dance naked on live TV if he thought he'd benefit, and the simple fact is, other than attacking the republican and democratic parties, he has nothing else to do. You can say a lot of things about Donald Duck, but he's neither shy nor does he struggle to find creative ways to stay in the news and even dominate the news. The mass media seems to have decided its ok to dismiss Donald Duck as a cult figure while, of course, taking every opportunity to cover his nonsense.
Nothing ever became of Giuliani's claimed 'big victory' in Michigan. The issue at hand was local and had nothing to do with the 2020 presidential election. Later, Trump was so desperate that he summoned MI state legislators Shirkey and Chatfield to the White House to try to coerce them to change the slate of Michigan's electors from Biden to him before the count was certified by the MI legislature. That couldn't be done without changing MI laws which were put in place to prevent such tampering. Trump failed at that scheme. On a video taken by a GOP member at a restaurant, even Shirkey admitted that Giuliani was a chucklehead and was disorganized.
Trump's buddy, Putin, has paved the way for being president until 2036. Vladimir Putin passes law that may keep him in office until 2036 excerpt: "The Russian president signed the legislation on Monday, ending a year-long process to “reset” his presidential terms by rewriting the constitution through a referendum-like process that his critics have called a crude power grab. Putin has been Russia’s most powerful politician since he assumed the presidency in 2000, after the resignation of his predecessor, Boris Yeltsin. If he remains in power until 2036, his tenure will surpass even that of Joseph Stalin, who ruled the Soviet Union for 29 years, making Putin the longest-serving Moscow leader since the Russian empire."
Republican politicians really don't like capitalism. Abbott: Texas companies 'need to stay out of politics'

The voter restriction legislation in TX sounds the same as that of GA. Abbott: Texas companies 'need to stay out of politics' excerpt: "Texas' legislation in parts limits extended early-voting hours, bans drive-through voting, and prohibits local election officials from sending vote-by-mail applications to voters. The law also gives more power to poll watchers and requires a doctor's note for Texans with disabilities who are asking to vote by mail. American Airlines said on Thursday that it was "strongly opposed to this bill and others like it." "Any legislation dealing with how elections are conducted must ensure ballot integrity and security while making it easier to vote, not harder. At American, we believe we should break down barriers to diversity, equity and inclusion in our society - not create them," it continued."
TX and GA still haven't provided any evidence of significant voter fraud to justify their voting restriction legislation. Their main justification is that it is needed to try to attain a sense of voting integrity that will quell frustration in Trump supporters who feel the 2020 presidential election was stolen from them.
