Apley was another anti-vaxxer who died of COVID. Death of Texas Republican from COVID hardens battle lines in his community: report
Trump and Brooks made remarks about being vaccinated and moving on from the 2020 election at Trump's Alabama rally. They received a negative response from the audience. Lindsey Graham made statements to Trump to move on from the 2020 election. They're showing signs of apprehension about the 2022 midterms after brainwashing their following with misinformation for the past ten months about the 2020 election and COVID. It's difficult to make a sales pitch that massive fraud stole the election from Trump and his alleged landslide win but at the same time tell people to move on to the next election and be confident in the voting system. It's the same as casting so much doubt on treating COVID and yet telling people later to be vaccinated to keep your constituents from dying so that enough of them are still alive to vote for you and win elections (in a voting system with alleged massive fraud against you).
Trump and his associates conjured up this type of mindset and behavior. They have their work cut out for them to try to undo some of it in time for the 2022 midterms. Walmart staff threatened by self-proclaimed ‘vaccine police’ excerpt: "“What they’re doing is crimes against humanity,” he said in a Facebook live video of the stunt. “And if they do not stand down immediately, then they could be executed. They can be hung in the state.” Walmart staff were forced to barricade themselves behind the counter of the in-store pharmacy, while Mr Key continued shouting for half an hour, his own footage shows. "What they're doing here is they're violating the Nuremberg Code,” said Mr Key, comparing health workers with Nazis, “and if you allow one more shot to go into one more person's body, you yourself can be executed”."
Mo Brooks told the audience at Trump's rally in Alabama to look back on the 2020 election but move forward and vote for him to become a U.S. Senator in a system with alleged massive voter fraud that stole a landslide win from Trump. Mo Brooks booed after telling Trump rally crowd to move past 2020 election excerpt: "“Yes,” he said. “Look forward, look forward, look forward. Beat them in 2022, beat them in 2024.” After the crowd continued to object, Brooks began to soften his stance. “All right, well, look back at it, but go forward and take advantage of it,” he said. “We have got to win in 2022. We’ve got to win in 2024.”"
Brooks was a fiery speaker at Trump's rally at the Ellipse right before his riot at the Capitol started. Brooks wanted the DOJ to defend him against lawsuits related to Trump's riot because he supposedly was working within the context of his government job when he helped incite Trump's riot.
That's like later asking doctors to help keep your COVID-stricken constituents alive to vote for you after blasting them for supposedly being evil by solving the COVID pandemic with vaccines and social distancing.
https://www.usnews.com/news/health-...donor-invests-in-covid-drug-governor-promotes excerpt: "Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis — who has been criticized for opposing mask mandates and vaccine passports — is now touting a COVID-19 antibody treatment in which a top donor's company has invested millions of dollars. DeSantis has been flying around the state promoting a monoclonal antibody treatment sold by Regeneron, which was used on then-President Donald Trump after he tested positive for COVID-19. The governor first began talking about it as a treatment last year."
A defense attorney for Brooks appears to be arguing that it was happenstance that caused Brooks to make a speech that helped incite the Capitol riot (while acting in the capacity of his government position). Indirectly it blames Trump. Mo Brooks says Trump is responsible for him giving a speech at rally before Capitol riot excerpt: "“Brooks only gave [a speech] because the White House asked him to, in his capacity as a United States Congressman,” read the court filings posted by NBC Washington. “But for the White House request, Brooks would not have appeared [at the rally],” they continued."
Sheriff Arpaio made a similar happenstance claim after trying to have a court seal his conviction that Trump pardoned. An attorney for Arpaio tried to argue that Arpaio was forced to accept Trump's pardon because it was happenstance. Arpaio lost the case. He can't hide his conviction because he had a choice of whether or not to accept Trump's pardon which acknowledges a criminal act. Arpaio should have considered such issues before accepting the pardon, especially when choosing to accept it before making an effort to exhaust his options to defend himself against the criminal charge.
DeSantis can attend the funerals of the police officers. At least 5 South Florida officers died from COVID-19 over the course of one week excerpt: "And in the week beginning Aug. 14, at least five police departments in South Florida reported the deaths of law enforcement officers from COVID-19. Coral Springs Police Sergeant Patrick "Pat" Madison, a decorated 15-year veteran of the department, "succumbed to complications of COVID-19 on Friday, August 20," CSPD Chief Clyde Parry said in a statement Friday. Madison is survived by his son and fiance. Miami Beach Police Officer Edward Perez, a 25-year veteran of the MBPD, passed away Thursday "after a battle with COVID. He leaves behind a loving wife and daughter," MBPD tweeted."
Trump’s border wall reportedly in severe disrepair in Arizona excerpt: "Trump insisted the “great wall” he planned for the southern US border, to keep out unwanted migrants, would be “impenetrable, physical, tall, powerful, beautiful”. Like other pronouncements by the former president, who made his name in construction, the assertion did not hold water. Neither, it seems, did the wall. Photographs published by the website Gizmodo appear to show sections of the partially constructed wall in southern Arizona in severe disrepair, torn apart by summer monsoon rains that the site said “literally blew floodgates off their hinges”. At least six gates were washed out in a single location near Douglas, according to a quote on the website from José Manuel Pérez Cantú, director of an environmental nonprofit, Cuenca de Los Ojos. Other sections of the wall were also hit by last week’s powerful monsoon, according to the Tucson Sentinel, which said a US Customs and Immigration Services official confirmed damage had been done."
Trump has created a monster that even he can't control. Anyone who won't follow the company line the crowd will turn against them, hell, they even booed Trump when he suggested they take the vaccine
At Trump;s Alabama rally, Lindell predicted Trump will be president again by the end of 2021. WATCH: Alabama Trump rally features Mike Lindell agitating crowd for ‘2021’ reinstatement
Case in point: Mike Lindell has new prediction: Trump's reinstatement by New Year's excerpt: "[Mike Lindell is] a patriot, a wonderful man, a man who puts his guts into everything. A man that they don't treat properly. He's smart; he loves his country so much," Trump said, to cheers from the crowd. "He's willing to die for this country." "I watched him over the last week at his symposium, which was really amazing, some of the people he had were incredible, incredible people. Mike Lindell!" Trump continued. "True! I'll tell you, true. It's true. He had some people up there, really - they were scientists, they were political scientists and beyond. They were incredible, what they said and what they understand."
