When Putin picked an American candidate to control, he picked one that cannot read or reason too well. It makes Putin's endeavor much easier.
I totally agree Putin needs to be considered our enemy. He has had it out for us ever since Reagan crushed what was then Russia. The man is no dummy. He is old school and has a plan to make Russia a Super Power again. He watched the decay of America over the past 8 years and has decided to make his play now. I have no doubt that he will play anyone who lets him.
I don't wish to get off thread talking about the value or lack thereof of Obama pulling out of that war as abruptly as he did. But Trump certainly didn't mind allowing Russia to do thing their way to bring about a more rapid evaporation of Isis there. Without wasting our troops or money to do so. Putin could care less about Trump or Isis as long as he can solidify the regime of Bashar Al-Assad. At least that reduces our enemy problem by one now. In the 12 months he has been in office Isis territory has been reduced by 97%. In 12 months, Trump has accomplished what the previous administration could not, in years. Soon the Libs will be screaming that the way the war is being fought is inhumane and ohhh the suffering of the innocents. Yeah it sucks to be an innocent in that part of the world now. If they don't get killed by Isis they get killed by Russia or Saudi Arabia or anyone besides us is better. Trump had NO problems asking the KSA to enter the Frey against Yeomen. The KSA was happy to oblige. They have been killing each other for about 2,000 years or so. So this is the culture they come to understand long before we (Yes BUSH) decided to eff with. Make it clear KSA would not mind of Iran was wiped off the map. Frankly that wouldn't bother me either. The more control KSA has in the region the better they will like it.
The defeat of ISIS in Syria and Iraq was not due to Mr. Genius, Donald Trump, it was due to a strategy started by Barrack Obama.
The Shia of Iraq defeated ISIS. ISIS was killing Shia pilgrims on their way to the sacred sites and bombing them in markets and coffee shops. The Shia got tired of it and got some help and weapons from Iran. With the exception of a few hideouts in small villages, Iraq is now free of ISIS fighters. Syria will also be free of them soon enough. It looks like ISIS has taken refuge in Libya and Afghanistan.
Trump says some immigrates come from "shit hole" countries, rejects bipartisan deal. He picked on Haiti, El Salvador, and "African" countries. He wants more people from Norway. But he's not racist.
The Genius caused more confusion today by....tweeting again. Problem is that tweet contradicted his support of FISA just 12 hours earlier. An hour and a half after the tweet he changed his mind again and resupported FISA. Also the FISA act had nothing to do with surveilling Trump.
Don't try to understand everything Trump. You'll just drive yourself crazy. Think about how nice it would be to take a sailing yacht cruise to Cuba, without Trump news for a few days?
Trump receives his official Presidential briefings every morning...from the Fox & Friends TV show. Trump was parroting a remark made by Andrew Napolitano related to FISA early in the morning on Fox & Friends without thinking things through, a behavior that has become routine for him and his administration. Trump has made similar mistakes in the past, such as claiming that a terror attack had just occurred in Sweden. His erroneous remark turned out to be based on scraps of words he heard film-maker Ami Horowitz say on Fox News who was talking about rates of crime in Sweden. The famous Kellyanne Conway remark was even stranger, citing a fictitious “Bowling Green massacre.” It's unclear what caused her to make that remark. It may have been related to two men living in Bowling Green, Kentucky who were arrested in 2011 for allegedly tying to send money to al-Qaida in Iraq.
Trump's behavior leads people to wonder what might occur if he happens to hear some scraps of words on Fox about a supposed N. Korea nuclear strike on the U.S.
President Trump caused a stir with his announcement that the United States had delivered F-52 fighter jets to Norway. Was it a secret advanced jet capable of beating its Russian counterparts? A ruse to fool intelligence analysts? NO, The “F-52” is a fictional jet only available to fly if you’re a gamer at the controls of “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.” Duh!
Go through a list of all countries in alphabetical order. Then one by one, ask yourself if you would like to live in each country for more than 12 months. If your answer is no, then that country is a shit hole. I mean go figure, people are more upset about Trump calling Haiti a shit hole than they were about the Clinton foundation turning it into one.
Heading of this letter is "I'm worried...here's why?"....from Move On. " Hi, MoveOn member! Former Labor Secretary Robert Reich here. Republicans are more unpopular with the American people than they’ve been in modern history.1 And Democrats have an eleven-point lead in the generic ballot.2 That’s great news in the fight to win back power and put a check on Donald Trump. It means that we have a real shot at winning back power in 2018. But with the oligarchs now paid off, Republican donors are about to unleash huge amounts of money into the 2018 elections. And I’m really afraid. Republican donors had been sitting on the sidelines, waiting for the tax bill to pass. As Senator Lindsey Graham warned, if the tax bill didn’t pass, “contributions [to the GOP will] stop.”3 But now, they’ve been paid off with over a trillion dollars in tax breaks, and they’re ready to FLOOD political campaigns with money—to hang on to power and enrich themselves even more. But you don’t have to take my word for it. As Doug Deason, a high-profile donor from Texas, said, “If they get [the tax bill] done, especially if it has the repeal mandate on [the Affordable Care Act], then yeah, we’ll be very supportive of incumbent senators.”4 That's why the Republicans passed a bill that was exceptionally unpopular, a bill that only 29% of Americans supported.5 Why did it pass? One word: money. I’m afraid that if Democrats lose in the 2018 elections, our nation may not recover. And I really don’t know how we can endure four years of unchecked power under Trump. I believe that, in spite of all the money on the right, we can win—if enough progressive grassroots donors step up to the plate. I’ve been briefed on MoveOn’s elections program, and I’m impressed. It’s innovative, it’s people-powered, and the value you get for your money is exceptional, especially when compared to traditional political donations. MoveOn is able to stretch your dollars far and in a way that really magnifies the impact of your gift. Because we can’t compete with billionaire GOP donors dollar for dollar, I believe that the MoveOn elections program is exactly what we need to win. Recently, MoveOn tested new approaches to voter persuasion and mobilization in Virginia and Alabama—using social media, SMS, video, and more—and the results were astounding. In Virginia, these tests demonstrated efficient, effective ways to turn out the voters that Democrats will need energized in 2018: young people, people of color, and others. And in Alabama, these techniques actually helped move potentially thousands of Republican voters to vote for the Democrat. Yes ... in Alabama! If MoveOn can bring these tactics to scale in 100 races across the country in 2018, we could see stunning, history-changing results. MoveOn members also turned out to take action in jaw-dropping numbers in 2017. They ran more than 2,800 on-the-ground actions to save health care, made hundreds of thousands of phone calls to Congress, joined the fight for the Dream Act, defended the Mueller investigation into Trump’s ties to Russia, and stood in solidarity with communities under attack by the Trump administration. But that's not all. MoveOn produced more than 500 videos in 2017 that were viewed more than 285 million times and shared a whopping 3.7 million times! Looking back to 2006, MoveOn played a pivotal role in taking back control of the House of Representatives, funded by tens of millions of dollars in small-dollar contributions, and I believe that MoveOn and small-dollar donors could once again make the difference. But only if we get started right away. We need to build a movement big enough to win, and we don’t have a minute to waste. The movement we need starts with you. I’ve learned from my decades in politics that we on the left can win when we are smarter, more creative, and harness the power of volunteers—even when we have less money. I’ve seen it in action. After all, the people are on our side. But if MoveOn doesn’t have the money to pay for the organizers, the text messages, the experiments, and the Facebook ads that it needs to put 100 House districts into play—and the right starts pouring their tax cut money into elections—then we could lose. When you decide what country you wish to live in many factors must be considered. For example, with my present income I could probably live like a king in many poor counties. For example Costa Rica, Uruguay, Oman, Kenya, and Uganda, while Greece is at the bottom of the list of desirable places to live. And even if they are poor places to live, why would a U.S. president insult them? On the Clinton Foundation: The topic is Trump, not Hillary Clinton. If you wish to bring up accusations about the Clinton Foundation, yet again...start a thread about The Clinton Foundation. Reminder...Clinton lost...Trump won the electoral vote...Trump is the president, not Clinton; why keep looking in the rear view mirror in an attempt to justify what our current president does?
Have you noticed that the Prez is beginning to sound more and more like ((((((((((((((Baldnballess)))))))))))))))? Oh, Lord! You don't suppose...?
