I wouldn't want to live in lots of countries in eastern Europe (Poland being one of them). Wouldn't want to live in Russia either. He didn't mention them. In all of the countries he did mention, the people are majority non-white. On the other hand, the example he gave of a place where more immigrants should be welcomed from was Scandanavian. I dunno, but taken in the context of his Birther and Charlottesville remarks, this sounds a lot like white superiority to me. That's how it came across. Why did he say it? To appeal to his base--desperately, because they didn't like his earlier, more compromising remarks toward immigration. As Anne Coulter tweeted: "He's trying to win me back." Now is that a profile in courage or what?

Let's help them pack--the ones dumb enough to move there, that is! But Poland has its pros and cons.Compare The United States To Poland Ironically, the Poles were targets of racist bigotry by earlier generations of white nativists in the U.S. Woodrow Wilson, before becoming President, wrote a History of the American People, describing Poles, along with Hungarians and Italians, as "men of the meaner sort" possessing "neither skill nor energy nor any initiative of quick intelligence". A pseudoscientific study by psychometrics "expert" professor Carl Bingham, concluded that Poles were inferior in intelligence and would dilute the superior "Nordic" American stock. A Congressional Joint Commission found that they were undesirable imigrants because of their "unstable personalities." Hitler, of course, viewed Poles, like other Slavs, as "a mass of born slaves who feel the need of a master", and Nazis imposed the death penalty for Poles who made passes at German women. So it may be a step forward that the Poles are now included by bigots like Baldnballess in the ranks of the Übermenschen. Who says racists aren't flexible?

Don't forget the Kurds! They fought braver and had at least as much impact on the battlefield than Russia and US together.

It's a continent with a lot of different nations and etnicities. Just like North America ;)

Well, you and the Republicans say Liberals have a mental disorder. We can not ignore your insults. We have to fight fire with fire, don't we?

The Kurds did more in northern Syria. Kurds did some fighting in and around Mosul. Iraq was mostly liberated by the Shia fighters.

That's a funny thing and he makes a fool of himself. Lawrence O'Donald put out an interesting bit last night. He said Trump and his father had a lease contract which kept out black people from renting in their apartment buildings. That would be more serious.

I don't think she did. And no, you rarely have to fight fire with fire.

Africa is a continent not a nation. Africa has 55 separate nations.
Africa is the most genetically diverse continent in the world.

There are over 30 languages spoken in Poland and over 19 religions are practiced. They have a non Polish population of well over a million people including Jews, Vietnamese, Africans (such as Zulus), and Arabs.

Any Caucasian in this country who doesn't like the nature of its diverse population is free to leave and live in any country that will take him or her. Freedom to choose. The U.S. does not withhold the right of any individual to leave the country unless they have committed some crime that prevents their freedom of travel.

If you don't like the diverse nature of the United States then you obviously don't understand the principles the country was founded upon. We grant citizenship to anyone from anywhere in the world if they meet certain standards as approved by law.
    We always have...and guess what?
    We have prospered.

Under Trump we are seeing an attack on one of our fundamental values, the acceptance of anyone regardless of their race, nationality, color, or religion as long as they have a desire for freedom and are willing to assimilate into our culture.
This talk of an ethnic cleansing of the United States hearkens back to NAZI Germany, and is vial, disgusting, unpatriotic, and downright evil.

We can thank the "genius" for this rise of filth in the U.S.

Not really. First, the kind of person looking at such a list matters. What do they value in a stay for longer than a year in a foreign country. You will see that most who actually have left the US value other stuff than what is generally valued most in your country.
Most people prefer the country they're used to anyway (no matter what other countries have to offer). This does not make other countries shitholes either.
But it seems Trump is calling countries like that mainly because people from there want what a majority of americans also value and crave most: stability, security, a future. And he hopes by claiming that these people come from 'shithole countries' that more americans will be against any immigrants from that country. Because hey, we don't want people from shithole countries making a future here! That's obviously bad right? They might take this job I don't really want...! And.. just because my ancestors came into this country when there wasn't any work or good future in their homeland doesn't mean haitians, cubans, nigerians etc. should be able to now... right?

I'm thinking Ireland was pretty much a shit hole when the great famine hit her shores, one million people died and they lost 20% of their population.

And we had idiots in the U.S. who hated the Irish.
We probably should deport all the Irish and their descendants that came from that shit hole.

You should make 2 threads. One about balkanization in the US and one about Poland/east Europe. That way you might get some good convo starting. Because you get ignored here because nobody but you want to talk in depth about it in this thread

Seems a worthy reason to travel abroad but I m not sure why you give this advice in response to my post.
What folks? Somalian Americans? Your grandpa that was born in Europe? I think both are home already. Thanks for playing

I reacted to you merely to give some constructive advice.
I'm not interested in injecting the different subjects of balkanization or Poland's state of whiteness in every other thread. You are.

How many Jews are too many?

True, I had forgotten about the 1790 Immigration Act. Luckily that was changed with the 14th and the 1870 Immigration Act and was further improved upon later......by law.
Just like slavery was also outlawed.

So what you are proposing, under Trump, to keep on topic, is that we go back to accepting only "free white" persons and exclude all blacks, Asians, and American Indians?
Are you proposing stripping the citizenship of all blacks, Asians, and American Indians currently living in the U.S.?
Not to mention indentured servants and slaves such as the approximately 5% of the U.S. workforce that is held in slavery even today?

Are you asking "The Genius" to come out with one of his executive orders to do so?
