‘The USA Is a Radicalized Mess’: Trump Whines About Bannon Indictment

    excerpt:

"Almost two days after his close ally and former chief strategist was indicted, former President Donald Trump took to Twitter (through a spokesperson, the only way he can) to complain about it.

“This country has perhaps never done to anyone what they have done to Steve Bannon and they are looking to do it to others, also,” Trump said in a statement publicized by Liz Harrington on Sunday."

It's what Bannon did to the country: help foment a violent insurrection at the seat of the federal government to promote Trump's lies about the election.

    Article from July 2021.

Donald Trump Is Brazenly Flouting His Twitter Ban With Aide's Help

    excerpt:

"Former Republican Party spokesperson Liz Harrington — hired last month to replace Trump’s former top aide, Jason Miller — each day posts every one of Trump’s messages from his blog. In many cases, the posts appear on Harrington’s Twitter account even before showing up on Trump’s site.

Harrington began posting Trump’s messages — often several a day — after she was hired in mid-June.

The Trump messages include the same provocative, bombastic rhetoric about a “rigged and stolen” election and an appeal to “patriots” linked to the U.S. Capitol insurrection on Jan. 6 — which is the reason Trump was kicked off Twitter."

    Bannon surrenders to authorities.

    https://www.cnbc.com/2021/11/15/tru...urrenders-on-charges-stemming-from-jan-6.html

    excerpt:

Former Trump advisor Steve Bannon surrendered Monday to federal authorities in Washington, D.C., where he faces criminal charges after defying a subpoena from the lawmakers investigating the deadly Capitol invasion.

"Bannon, 67, was charged with two counts of contempt of Congress following his refusal to comply with demands to produce documents and sit for a deposition as part of that investigation.

Each count of contempt of Congress is a misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in jail and a maximum fine of $100,000.

Appearing outside the FBI’s Washington field office before turning himself in, Bannon claimed he and his allies were “taking down the Biden regime.”

“I want you guys to stay focused, stay on message,” Bannon said in remarks being livestreamed to a right-wing social media platform."

Fine and Dandy, but I will not forget that photo session at that church after the military and capitol police cleared the ordinary people with tear gas.

That PR stunt was an attempt by Trump to show that he wasn't afraid after the public heard that he was escorted to the basement of the White House to take a 'tour' of the safe area.

Ivanka pulled a Bible out of her $1,500 purse and gave it to Trump who held it upside-down.

The same Trump who couldn't recite a phrase from the Bible when asked by Bloomberg when he said he had so many favorite verses.

Trump said in Nevada that nobody loves the Bible more than he does.

He also didn't state a verse properly when trying to recite one at Liberty University when it was written for him, to the chuckles of people in the audience.

New London man faces charges in the Jan. 6 Capitol attack. Jeremy K. Baouche had secret clearance at Electric Boat.

    excerpt:

"On April 30, investigators interviewed a co-worker of Baouche’s who works at Electric Boat. The co-worker immediately recognized Baouche in photos clipped from video taken inside the Capitol, based on his face and hair style.

The co-worker also noted that Baouche tends to cuff his pants. In one of the videos, the subject’s pants can be seen cuffed.

The co worker told investigators that he knew Baouche took Jan. 5 and Jan. 6 off from work, but said Baouche told them it was for a fishing trip with his grandfather."
