I just don't understand. You're 75, you might be dead in no time. Your brother already died. You can't be in great health with that fat ass. You have more money than you and your family can ever, ever spend. Relax, you live in a paradise, play golf all fucking day. Why do you want to spend the rest of your days in torment? Now don't tell me that isn't mental disease or defect....

That's easy. 'Cause he likes being president.

He loves the adulation, worship & the good feeling he gets when people have their heads up his rectum.

He had all this from his earliest days in life as the privileged son of a rich daddy.... and as a lifelong con man.........but all of that is nothing compared to being POTUS. As he said, he can do 'pretty much whatever he wants to.'

This has nothing to do with serving his country or Constitution. As well, with the way tens of millions of folks have allowed things to be, he can make decisions that affect the entire planet off the top of his head; no research or study required. No consultation with experts, no need to justify his moves.

Hell, if power is one's goal, why wouldn't he want to be president?

Journalist Frank Cerabino in Palm Beach has observed Trump up close since he became involved in Florida in the 1990's.

He says Trump's life is an endless quest to obtain the biggest something (flag pole, yacht, party).

In Trump's late years, it has descended into obtaining the biggest revenge against people (Obama, Hillary, Biden, Pence, Pelosi, James, Willis, Romney, McConnell, and anyone else who crosses his path).

    Trump's War With Palm Beach

    excerpt:

"The thing with Trump is that he’s always at war, a man on a mission to get the next thing, whether it’s the biggest pole, the best social gathering of the season, or the idea that the rest of America should be calling him “Mr. President.”

And woe be to those who get in his way."

EXCLUSIVE: Trumps file legal response accusing New York AG Letitia James of having a vendetta against the former First Family and breaking state laws by campaigning on the promise to take them down without a shred of evidence
    • The Trump Organization's lawyers have filed a legal response to New York Attorney General Letitia James accusing her of breaking FEC and state laws
    • They claim James campaigned on taking down Trump and his family before she had any evidence of wrongdoing
    • James is accused of making claims, including allegations of money laundering, without any evidence
    • In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com Eric Trump slammed the NY AG as 'vicious' and said she should be 'disbarred and removed from office'
    • The family claims she colluded with former Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance to run parallel criminal and civil cases, which they say prevents a fair trial
    • The Trumps also claim James broke Federal Election Commission (FEC) rules which ban campaigning on the promise of a criminal investigation
    • The response is the latest in a bitter legal battle between the leader of the Republican Party and the ambitious Democrat AG

Trump appears to be infuriated that Pence's chief of staff has spoken with the January 6 committee.

Trump now says he wants Pence INVESTIGATED for refusing to overturn the election and says there would have been 'no January 6' if his VP had turned the results to state legislators and Pelosi had increased Capitol security

    • Trump wants to probe why Pence 'did not send back the votes for recertification or approval, in that it has now been shown that he clearly had the right to do so!'
    • He also wants to investigate Speaker Pelosi for Capitol security failures
    • The House Jan. 6th committee is probing Trump's election overturn effort and the Jan. 6th Capitol riot
    • Trump declared in a stunning tweet Sunday that Pence 'could have overturned the Election!'
    • Trump wanted Pence to use his role during the counting electoral votes to refuse to accept votes from states that went for Joe Biden where Trump claimed fraud
    • He called House Jan. 6th members 'traitors'
    • Attack comes after Pence's former chief of staff Marc Short testified before the House Jan. 6th Committee

If only the homeowner had turned over his property to the burglar or had better security at his house, the burglary would have never happened.

The burglar was simply trying to recover what was unceremoniously and viciously stolen from him, and the homeowner should be prosecuted for refusing to return it.

More of Trump's 'prosecute the investigators' ploy.

Trump now says he wants Pence INVESTIGATED for refusing to overturn the election | Daily Mail Online

    excerpt:

'In other words, they lied, and the Vice President did have this right or, more pointedly, could have sent the votes back to various legislators for reassessment after so much fraud and irregularities were found. If it were sent back to the legislators, or if Nancy Pelosi, who is in charge of Capitol security, had taken my recommendation and substantially increased security, there would have been no “January 6” as we know it!' Trump continued.

'Therefore, the Unselect Committee should be investigating why Nancy Pelosi did such a poor job of overseeing security and why Mike Pence did not send back the votes for recertification or approval, in that it has now been shown that he clearly had the right to do so!'

Trump was following a playbook from his time in the White House, where he demanded investigations of former FBI Director James Comey, former special counsel Robert Mueller and the entire Russia probe even as a team of lawyers probed his campaign ties to Russia.

Trump might as well say that he also wants to prosecute Willis in GA who's investigating him for his phone call to Raffensperger.

Why would he recommend increasing security unless he knew what was about to happen?

Trump considered 10,000 troops to protect his protesters, not members of Congress. He didn't follow through with his musing.

He is now deceptively claiming that he wanted Pelosi to somehow implement his executive branch musing to protect Congress.

Trump wanted troops to protect his supporters at Jan. 6 rally

    excerpt:

"May 12 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump wanted National Guard troops in Washington to protect his supporters at a Jan. 6 rally that ended with them attacking the U.S. Capitol, leaving five dead, Trump's former Pentagon chief testified on Wednesday.

Former Acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller told a House of Representatives panel that he spoke with Trump on Jan. 3, three days before the now-former president's fiery speech that preceded the violence and led to his second impeachment.

According to Miller's testimony, Trump asked during that meeting whether the District of Columbia's mayor had requested National Guard troops for Jan. 6, the day Congress was to ratify Joe Biden's presidential election victory.

Trump told Miller to "fill" the request, the former defense secretary testified. Miller said Trump told him: "Do whatever is necessary to protect demonstrators that were executing their constitutionally protected rights.""

Fact check: Nancy Pelosi isn’t ‘in charge’ of Capitol Police

    excerpt:

"The Capitol Police Board is made up of the House and Senate sergeants-at-arms, as well as the Capitol architect. The Capitol Police chief serves in a non-voting capacity on the board, according to the Capitol Police website.

Pelosi was not a chair or administrator of any committee supervising the Capitol Police at the time of the insurrection. She's not listed on any of those committees' websites today, either.

Jane L. Campbell, president of the U.S. Capitol Historical Society, told CNN "the Speaker of the House does not oversee security of the U.S. Capitol, nor does this official oversee the Capitol Police Board.""
