Tuberville says Trump admitted to "mistake" over deadly Capitol riot. He hasn't

 

After Trump had lost the 2020 election, Mike Lee had correspondence with Mark Meadows regarding trying to overturn the election.

Trump erroneously called Mike Lee during the riot. He meant to call Tommy Tuberville to encourage him to slow the certification of Biden's win by objecting to as many states that Biden had won as possible.

 

Giuliani made the same type of call. Like Trump, he mistakenly dialed another politicians and left a rambling voice mail about trying to slow the certification so that state legislatures would have more time for what he thought would be a sufficient retraction of electoral votes to nullify Biden's electoral win.

The politician posted the complete voicemail left by Giuliani.

 

Mike Lee endorsed Cruz for the 2016 presidency.

Lee said that he was concerned about not receiving enough assurance that Trump wouldn't be an authoritarian president or an autocrat.

 

That's the same Mike Lee who (after Trump incited a riot at the Capitol in true autocrat fashion like Lee said he was concerned about in 2016) claimed that Trump (supposedly) admitted it was a mistake and, therefore, shouldn't be impeached.
