the problem isn't just one person or identity, it is narcissism. if we want to protect the institutions of democracy from the ever present threat of fascism, we need to make narcissism a disqualifier for any and every public office. that, i'm sure, was the motivation for minimal ages, since in theory, growing up means outgrowing it,
but minimal ages misses the point entirely. maturity, maturity enough to be trusted with the kind of social, political and environmental "matrix" we all have to live with, means outgrowing narcissism, and those who never do never belong in any sort of elected office. narcissism is this idea of "the world" meaning everyone else and the social environment, owing any more to one's own self the to each and every one else. this is you know, all of those minions of wanna be fascism too, the loud toys, oath breakers and the rest of that kakakanotsees lot.

Trump's behavior has made him an ongoing suspect.

He apparently pressured a high official at NOAA to publish an unsigned document that defended his doctoring of a government hurricane chart with a Sharpie pen that was made to look like the hurricane was heading to Alabama after he made a public erroneous remark about its trajectory (the same chart Trump illegally kept at Mar-a-Lago with his love letter from dictator Kim of N. Korea and hundreds of other documents that were later recovered after the FBI searched his Mar-a-Lago mansion after a year of Trump stonewalling the government, documents that Trump is still demanding the government return to him).

Trump pressured the secretary of state of GA to overturn the 2020 election which is the subject of an ongoing state and federal criminal investigation.

He pressured Congress to give him taxpayer money for his border wall (that even his own GOP wouldn't give him when they controlled both chambers of Congress) by separating migrant children from their parents and threatening to deport DACA recipients.

He disposed of the competent, highly experienced, and respectable U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine (Yovanovitch) and withheld government money to Ukraine as part of his plot to coerce Ukraine to conduct a public investigation of Biden to smear him during the 2020 presidential election. It precipitated his first impeachment related to the 2020 election that Trump says was stolen from him, a false claim that he used to instigate a riot at the Capitol that he continues to defend and which precipitated his second impeachment and ongoing criminal investigations.
