Trump has filed an array of frivolous lawsuits against people and groups he doesn't like since he left office.They failed in court and cost his attorneys their reputation.

But to Trump, it's an ego battle that's worth fighting, even though he loses.

After his first impeachment, Trump said at a rally that he didn't feel like he had been impeached. His seemed to be in his usual mood.

Based on the look on his face in court and his body language, Trump wasn't enjoying being arrested and booked.

He waved briefly to his fans from his limo.

No Secret Service joy ride around the court house or any other area like he did at the hospital when he was sick with Covid.

Trump is surrounding himself with people of the increasingly fringe type.

Trump's post-arrest gathering was attended by the Trump-pardoned Roger Stone, the pillow guy Mike Lindell, AZ election loser and denialist Kari Lake, Matt Gaetz, and Ronny Jackson (Trump's former White House physician, failed Trump nominee to head the Veterans Administration, and now U.S. House member from Texas).

Most higher level politicians such as members of Congress and governors didn't attend Trump's gathering. Exceptions were U.S. House members Rosendale (R-MT.) and Ronny Jackson (R-TX).

 

Gathering of losers

 

The post-arrest gathering at Mar-a-Lago was arranged like a wedding or an awards ceremony. It had an aisle down the middle with Trump and his fringe loyalists walking down the aisle to the applause of guests.
