Which really pisses me off....it's been my lowest grossing year in over ten years....we both claim proper deductions per Trump's 16 page W-4 and I STILL had to cut a $3500 check to the IRS.

 

Trump looks bad either way.

If the losses are fake, he lied to the IRS (like his partner Weisselberg did who's now in prison and whose behavior Trump knew about).

If the losses are real, he's not the great business man he claims to be. He's not even mediocre.

Trump knew the disclosure of his taxes would make him look terrible. He fought to the extreme to keep it secret and lost.

 

The staggering losses occurred in the years that could be called the great recovery after the Great Recession. His businesses should have been performing very well.

$3500 is 4.7 times the amount of $750 that Trump paid in 2016 and 2017.

It appears that Trump might not have had to even pay the $750.

For reasons that are not clear, his accountants apparently subtracted $750 from his credits, which made his tax $750 instead of zero.

 

The courthouse officials didn't open the door for Trump. They let it close on him as he was entering.

No tears in their eyes either.

Trump's courtroom entrance looked like Gilligan pushing the branch out of the way which snaps back and hits the face of the Skipper who was following behind him.
