Imagine, if you will, a president who is so vain and stupid that he keeps boxes of top secret government documents in an unlocked room near a swimming pool at his golf resort and shows them to Kid Rock. And imagine an electorate that is so crass that it continues to support him because of its love for his bigotry and proudly votes to reelect him because he's running to try to stay out of prison.

You have just entered The Twilight Zone.

The most influential members of this category would have to be Chris Christie and William Barr. While we like hearing what they're saying now about Trump's dishonesty, lack of intelligence and integrity, it would be remiss to ignore that whey were telling us while Trump was president. Then, they crowed repeatedly that Trump was a great, honest, courageous and effective leader. Presumably, they knew at that time what he really was, so shouldn't we now take into account the fact that they knew they were lying to us then? ("I was lying to you before.....but NOW I'm telling the truth!")

As for Walt Nauta, one hopes he has the sense to 'flip' on Trump since you know full well that Trump is going to try and blame all related problems on Nauta. The 'loyalty' Trump demands works only one way and Nauta shouldn't forget that.

 

After Michael Cohen stopped working for Trump, he has complained continually that Trump was a bastard while he was working for him.

Which raises the question as to why Cohen kept working for Trump for a decade.

Trump thinks Smith can't prosecute him because he was already impeached.

Trump doesn't understand that an impeachment is a political process, not one that occurs in criminal court.

McCabe is experienced with Trump's underhanded approaches.

Trump had him fired the weekend of his birthday and a couple days before he was to retire. which took away his pension.

After a lengthy legal process, McCabe recovered his pension.

 

The swimming pool that someone drained that flooded the IT room.

Apparently, no surveillance video was lost in that incident.
