It's another person in Trump's ring that will need money for his defense if he is charged. News reports say that Trump has already spent about $20 million of PAC money on his legal fees to defend himself and those in his circle that he wants to keep on his side. Two more indictments of Trump may be coming in August. Those indictments could include an array of Trump cohorts who will need to be defended along with him.
As bad as it already is, the situation for Trump looks like it's turning uglier. The GOP needs to think seriously now about continuing to support Trump before early 2024 when he might already have the nomination locked up (and the possibility that by later in 2024 he himself could be locked up).
