And what's the big deal about keeping highly classified documents lying around at Mar-a-Lago and denying he had them? If the Donald does it, it must be okay! Seems okay with The Big Guy too.

 

The same reason for why Al Capone got charged and convicted of income tax evasion instead of the thousands of violent crimes he was guilty of - it worked to get a big criminal and threat to society off the streets and took down a piece of his criminal empire.

All his tariffs have done is place another tax on consumers. One can see all the new factories that have been built to replace what tariffs keep out from China. Zero. Electronics, Semiconductors, All Aluminum all still comes from China with a 25% tariff

 

Trump's tariff war caused retaliatory tariffs. It caused manufacturers who would normally produce in the U.S. to consider taking their operations overseas to avoid the retaliatory import tariffs imposed on U.S. goods by other countries.

Trump became upset about this, interpreting it as U.S. companies not being loyal to him. He threatened U.S. manufacturers with taxes and fines and threatened to bring foreign companies to work in their place in the U.S.

It's the opposite of what Trump originally had said he wanted to happen.

 

In the late 90's when the Lewinsky and other woman-related scandals were in the news, a 70's rock radio station had an advertising logo to promote itself showing the face of Bill Clinton in the center surrounded by the faces of the women in the scandals, such as Lewinsky and Jones. The logo said proudly: "Whole Lotta Love"

 

A stand-up comedian said that Bill Clinton was president and could have had the best women available, yet he went with people like Lewinsky. He added that it's like the guy was cracking open mobile homes in Alabama.
